My eyes are going to roll out my head, but my brain has retained this information and I couldn’t be any more grateful. Thanks for making this video in a way that is easy to understand. It shows that you have a great understanding of this and how you can explain it in a way that’s comprehensible! Thanks!😃
Got this video as a recommendation and I recommended it to my cousin who is entering the Central Sterile Processing Supply Technician program in spring 2023 so she can be prepared by knowing in advance her medical terminology by watching your videos.
2 years later and this video is still helping me:). im in EMT school and even though ill probably only use a quarter of the information in the feild i still wanted to be as aducated as possible in reguards the a future patients medical history and what these terms could mean. Thank you!
That's great you want to be as educated as possible! Says a lot about your passion for the career and patient care. Good luck with EMT school, and feel free to check out the flashcards/study guides for EMTs linked above! 🙏
Thank you. So easy to confuse sounds & terms. I’ve never had this explained like this. Just stumbled on our channel, not sure why I stopped to watch, but glad aI did.
This means a lot! 🙏🏻 Glad you stumbled on the channel too! And happy to hear the way it was explained helped clear things up because like you said it's easy to confuse some of the terms. Best of luck to you! 💯
This is one of our necessary information and I am very grateful for providing fantastic information.i am overwhelmed by your lecture on prefix and suffix of medical science
Thank you for these videos. They are so interesting. I start STNA class in February, and I'm trying to obtain information before. These are very helpful
That's great you're trying to get ahead! 👍 You can find the whole medical terminology series on the playlist or website linked in the description. Good luck with your STNA class! 🙏🏻
Thank You I love this stuff ❤️ knowledge is power and I'm changing my path from a cell tower climber and a commercial fisherman to become a surgical assistant 1 gunna be one helluva ride. You are a very good teacher the associations are perfect and the corresponding examples are effiecent in exposing new terms, or reinforcing difficult or tricky outliers. Well done, pericardiocentisis ona flyby is amazing 👏
Good luck on the exam! 🙏🏻 The study guide below will save you so much time studying and will help you ace it! You go this! 💯 www.ezmedlearning.com/store/p/medical-terminology-bundle-study-guide
Since you're taking it next week focus on reviewing your weak topics. It can be tempting to want to study your strong subjects as that can be a confidence booster, but you're likely to get those questions correct anyway. Keep a notebook as you study and write down one-liners of info you don't know, and review at the end of each day. Take practice tests and do as many practice questions as you can. This will not only give you feedback on what your strengths and weaknesses are, but will help you practice the format and improve test-taking skills. Practice questions can be an efficient study method, especially if you review the explanations to the answer choices if offered. Finally, take care of yourself! Sleep well, exercise, meditate, eat healthy, or whatever else you enjoy. These are just some tips and not requirements as this platform takes no responsibility for how you prepare or what your results are. Hope this helps! Good luck!! You've got this!
@@LifewitNaez i actually passed by like 7 points. That test was no joke. I highly recommend studying the medical terms and also knowing what diseases original names are. I had a lot of those questions. I also had majority being common sense patient care questions. Know about EKGs and also study the positions for different procedures.
@@ladykookie66 that's good congrats!!! And thank you for the heads up. They say they gonna give us a while booklet or pack something with everything from the test on it

Question: When multiple suffixes meaning "pertaining to" are listed, how do you know which one to use with the root or combining form? Is there a rule? (Such as if rw/cf ends in consonant, use suffix beginning with vowel, except many of the "pertaining to" suffixes begin with a vowel so that's not really helpful.)
This is so much interesting than the AAPC.course! I am retaining more info here than in the course.. the Aapc course is so boring no cute pictures! These pictures are awesome!@!! Where can I learn more terminology?
You can find all of the medical terminology videos/lectures linked in the description above, on the medical terminology playlist, or on the website linked above! 💯 Enjoy and glad you liked the video! 👍
I wonder why there’s not a use of the prefix “neumo” for pulmonologist, in Spanish we use Neumólogo, which literally is neumo = lungs + logos = study, why is that?
