Apple's Secret Plan: • Video
Funny you were mentioning Logic in the video. I’m happy Apple finally brought it to the IPad!
Just came across this video, while looking up how to produce music on iPad Pro garage band. I will be looking into obtaining items 1, 3, 5 (already have 2,4 with my DJ equipment which I still have and my vinyl records). Love how short and sweet and to the point you are. Just subbed and will be watching your videos past and future.
Is it recommended to Buy 12.9 or 11 inch Ipad Pro...for Music Production...?
I have 10.9 inch basic ipad in which I use Garage Band to make music...Now I dont hold the Ipad in Hand while I use music ...Its in the Cover and with it , the Ipad is always in my Bed in landscape mode and I do the music creation (i dont carry it in hand)..also for any video calls ...Ipad is in the Table. ..or Stand... I use the 10.9 also to watch Videos by keeping it in my belly while sleeping in the bed and watch videos , whatever....
Now I ask this question because I am planning to upgrade to M1 Ipad Pro 12.9 ..... which is bit heaver also and bigger screen.....now this should not cause any issue while creating music ...as Ipad will be in the bed in landscape mode ...and I will just touch the screen and make music by touch screen...(no ipad holding in hand)....now if I stream videos keeping 12.9 inch ipad in my belly and watch videos....will it cause inconvenience and heavy ...and I will not able to watch video as for long time or will it be ok....? Its a very confusing thing to me right now ....As I am planning to upgrade...and confused between 11 and 12.9 ....I dont want to miss the XDR display for some sort of small inconvenience which may be I will get used to ....!please elaborate
Ooooof thank you very much this video just saved me tons of unnecessary overthinking, I’m looking to gift the very basic on the go stuff for my partner so he can finally start doing something he likes while we keep moving around so THANK YOU 👏🏽
Happy to help!! Yes I think it'll serve him well.
My first time discovering your content, while doing research on the topic. This was Informative, well structured, and had a very polished delivery. I appreciate the effort behind this. Looking forward to checking out your other stuff.
Many thanks 🙏. Very glad you enjoyed!
Yes please, do loads of garage band please, love the hub aswell, i want one
You should do a video of garageband vocals 🙏
In in production as we speak
great work man. same here ipad user
Many thanks! 🙏 what did you think of the new iPadOS 16 update?
Great video! Audio and visuals were on point.
Great info, I was looking for a little data on using my new ipad for making some music for my videos. But the thing I noticed right away was the "cape cod" shirt... I work in Hyannis and live in plymouth. Are you local on cape cod ?
very well explained , thanks!
nicely explained
Great content and very informative! Do you use only GarageBand for the software or is there something else you’d recommend?
Do you recommend for entry level, iPad 10th gen? I would like to use it with imaschine and a midi keyboard for starter
For simple compositions that will work great but anything more advanced and you'll probably want to move to the m1 iPad Air
@@grantedgeek thank you!
Fantastic video! All we do over here is iOS music production :)
Great Video. New subscriber and fan!!!
This is what's up. The last time I produced anything was in 2015 on a MacBook Pro, using GarageBand. I want to start producing again but I'm not going to pay for a MacBook Pro now, WAY too expensive. Besides, all of my old equipment has either been sold or is obsolete. I'm glad the iPad is an inexpensive option and thank you for your video. I didn't know where to begin and you've pointed me in the right direction.
I probably missed it but is it possible to get pro tools or logic on the IPAD?
Great video.
Great video man! Very well done and informative.
Anyway that you can add a link to the equipment you use?
Straightforward and succinct. Not a second wasted. Liked and subbed. Please post a video of your actual everyday pro setup that you have alluded to. It can be very useful to all of us. Thanks.
Many thanks 🙏! Yes, that video is on it's way! Stay tuned!
Great video! Just what I was looking for. Clear & concise information. Will the Presonus 24c work with hub you’re using? Any additional connections required to link it all up? 🙏🏽✨
Thank you! And yes, it will work with that USB-C hub. Just make sure to plug plenty of power into the power pass through on the hub.
Yours M1 ipad is 12.9 or 11 inch ? I beleive you create must with Ipad...now ...Why do you need keyboard for that....like using garage band ..you will need both your hands to play instruments.... keyboard will be difficult I beleive...
Im using the 12.9 inch iPad Pro M1. Keyboard helps with shortcuts, but it is not essential.
So I went and got the usb hub and the interface you recommended and they’re great products so far but only used separately. My problem is that the interface is powered when its plugged into the hub, but no data seems to be transferred. Like, no sound coming out of my studio monitors or from any instrument I plug in. Do you have any advice for me?
Scratch that. The cable I was using didn’t support 900ma of current. Found on that did and problem solved.
I can not find any link for buying any devies that you recommend. Where can I get those ?
Apologies! Everything is in the description now!
What about ipad air 2020?
I’m just trying to start making music with my new m1 ipad. Hope that in the future Apple will make some more serious music production software for us. And of course I’m looking forward to watch more of this series from you. Thanks for yours great work.
Many thanks! And many more videos to come! 👍
Great 👍
