Would you please tell us the mixture of breeds and cross breeds you have. Which county are you in.
    Very nicely explained.

Would an underpass be handy for the cows instead of crossing the road richard

Good to see the milking do you use same medicines and withhold times as conventional milkers

Are there always some cows to milk on the spring calving unit? or are there a few weeks before they start calving when all the cows are dry

Did milk through this year and worked well. All depends on cell count in the end

We would tube a. Cow and Inject 3 days at least if she had Mastitis. For 3 days in a row. . Feeding Antibiotic milk to calves not a good idea as that Antibiotic milk in the the calf gut. I am surprised your Vets are not telling you its a no. Every farm different but not something milk buys would want to be happening ? HOPE the Mastitis clears up.

Using a tube or injection is very rare on this farm because organic. Organic products used first.
