Compliments are never enough for her voice and her attitude towards singing. Also, ICYMI, Taeyeon planned to come back with a full-length album, but there were some variables in the process, so she couldn't make it happen. But she said she was diligently working and selecting songs to release one next year, which would be more special because 2025 marks the 10 anniversary of her solo career
Could totally relate to your final thoughts there, glad to follow her journey as artist, just kinda sad not as many people could see her for her effort she puts in

It says a lot that insiders and artist give that much respect. She has veered away from chasing popularity. I am OK with it that she does well enough to continue her journey.
Sorry, I have to tell something about myself first. I'm a soon retiring professional acoustic guitar maker, been in profession nearly 40 years now. When it comes to guitar sound producing its the overall balance, dynamics capability to play soft play loud, sensitiveness, tonal quality, how it records etc etc. The bigger the better is not true in acoustics,small or medium size is usually more balanced, overall instrument. What has this do with Taeyeon? Because Taeyeon is a perfect guitar, a perfect instrument in my opinion. Something that I'll be proud to achieve. her overall tonal quality and balance with different tones and notes is just perfect. Good guitar can play nearly anything and it will work. Taeyeon can sing nearly anything and it will work. Hope I'm not rude here, she's of course a living breathing soulful human being who has a great sense of music. Listening too much Taeyeon has made my ears even more picky. After her versatility and quality of notes it's hard to find singers even close to her. It's not a loud voice, power only, runs, high notes which makes a great singer. It's the capability to express the song. Bringing the best out of that music. Taeyeon just nails it. Solidly an top professionally, but also with emotions you can feel. She's definitely in category 'Great vocalist'. And one of the kind.

@ Thank you. Tried to say something about it. It would take much too long to figure out everything that makes Taeyeon an exceptionally good vocalist. But there's one more thing not mentioned why I respect her even more: It is how she continues year after year to challenge herself not falling on 'I'm the superstar'- mode. It's the humble 'music first'- attitude. And she keeps it 'simple' ( It's never simple, it's professionality) She takes risks not following trends. And how much she puts effort. You said something like that too for her personality. Usually true musicians are like that I've noticed. And she definitely is a true musician. 'K- pop idol' is diminishing her. She' s also a very smart singer singing carefully in a healthy way so I think she will bless us many many years to come. Koreans can be proud of her. ( And of course many other great vocalists and musicians.)
