Bro, this is GENIOUS. You could use the same design for so much stuff! Bunnymen with baits, pigman, maybe even a Varg farm! And it looks amazing for a totally free Shadow Knight farm with some adjustememts. Wickerbottom with her fish book turns this into an auto fish farm too. What a great concept!

Really nice design! If you'd apply the same concept to hounds or non-befriended spiders, they'd likely jump onto the boat and attack the monkey unless you use some meat as lure. But Klei recently changed that walls can be shot thorugh if they and the cannon were built on the same boat. Or perhaps use statues instead.
@@NDaang Statues are only destroyed if they are hit by the projectile, not the aoe. Not sure if that helps but something to think about. You’ll need something new cause fossils can’t be placed close anymore

I think using this method to defeat or farm shadow pieces is less effective or will be more complicated, because it will be difficult to agro each shadow piece and if it is wrong it will kill the powder monkey.

Yep, that's right, but statues can also be destroyed, maybe you can still use fossils.

Unfortunately, fossil fragments cannot be placed next to each other after the new update😭
