- A little trick of mine which I thought I would share to make life easier and save time when removing and refitting these clutches, which have loose roller bearings which like to try to escape when they can!
Typically generous of you to share that info, Paul. I wish I'd known about it earlier! Thanks mate.
Brilliant. Marking the key way position is a good one as well. Thanks mate.
Thanks for that video, that has possibly save me a lot of time 😊
Just read this tip after struggling with the rollers for a couple of hours. Next time, I'll do it your way!
Good idea Paul so simple a bit of lateral thinking well done and typically generous of you to share it with us.
Twenty rollers from memory! And a pot of grease to get the buggers back in place!
I learn something every day. Thanks !
Many thanks, much appreciated.
You're welcome!
And dont forget the three square head bolts that go in from the back first or it all has to come off again. (done it myself)
All good inspiring stuff. Just cannot beat experience. I hope whatever is trying to ail you does not bother you too much, and you will be back to normal swiftly.
Regards.
G'day Paul, great idea, just in time for me with the rebuild of the BSA lightning, cheers mate, also your last video on fork oil had no sound coming through.
Great Tip Paul, well done !
Good advice thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent, thanks
What a good idea. Sadly although I have worked on a great many BSA and Triumph clutches I have not worked on enough Enfields to accrue a stash of such washers.
Hi Neil they are about £4, I think, from Hitchcocks.
Just looked them up they are asking £6.60@@paulhenshaw4514
Will try this Paul Thanks mate
Ingenious!
