- Experience Leviathan, a wooden roller coaster at Sea World on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. It is a part of the park's New Atlantis Expansion, and the first new wooden coaster built in Australia in 35 years.
NOTE: Sea World on the Gold Coast is NOT affiliated in any way with Seaworld in the United States. It is an independent theme park that is known for its efforts supporting marine life.

Surprise! A cheeky little mid-week upload from Sea World Australia to showcase their brand new roller coaster. Let us know if you like these sorts of videos!
That indoor section of the queue and the station are certainly impressive!
The station and interior theming are great, and I loved the brief/quick view of the rest of the park. It looks good.
That loading station is amazing
It sure is! Easily some of the best theming in Australia.
@@ReviewTyme Impressive theming. please do more POVS
In Australia I would've thought it'd be an inverted coaster
good to see this built, our parks need a lot more coasters...
I like that you go from a pretty nice indoor queue into, WOOD!: the ride. But man that was a smooth experience!
Glad to see the Aussie theme parks are getting more inspired by the rides on offer in America. Looks so good!
That queue end was so cool!
Looks like a trip is needed real soon. Thanks for the great video. I’ve just been enjoying a 10 hour road trip by listening to your podcasts. 👍.
Glad we could keep you company on your trip!
Coaster layout really fits the name and theme
Looks like a solid coaster - really smooth. I could feel some of those air times even through here. Hope to ride it one day if I ever make it that way.
Really smooth? When I ride it was okay for a wooden coaster, it was a little rough in some parts. However it is fast, intense, great pacing, and so much airtime.
Looks really good! Getting major Wodan/Rulantica vibes with that queue and station, which i absolutely love. Shame the rockwork just stops in parts (like the exit and entrance to the station). But I'd be over the moon to have something like this in the UK, and certainly for Australia.
That’s an amazing queue line!!
This looks like the full package. It looks to be a smooth ride, has great teeming, and looks to be a huge hit for families and thrill seekers!
Its the opposite of smooth but still fun😂
@@tecoluga_the_luga did you ride it? I'm sure it's smooth for a wooden coaster.
@Jason Elston nah its definitely not smooth 😂 went on it yesterday, and it hurts like a MF 😂 still super fun, tho 🎉🎉
Hoping we get theming like that back here in the U.S. parks... this ride looks great though!
Different owners same name 😂
That queue has some incredible theming for a coaster! Very impressive for a Sea world.
This park is in no way related to the SeaWorld's in the US
lol this isn’t a SEAS park, hahaha
This looks AMAZING!
Thanks for the video. I went to Sea World today and got so disappointed that it was closed all day. None of the 3 new attractions were open today actually. Except Trident for an hour before it stopped operating. Such a shame for already a tiny park.
Was curious too see how it would go up against WODAN @ EUROPAPARK Germany. Definitely just as intense but not as long. Love noisey wooden coasters. ❤
Been on another wooden coaster called El toro in USA. Never thought this could top it, but It did. 👏 👏
Hard to tell if it’s the camera stabilization or if it’s really that buttery smooth of a ride. But looks great. Gotta say the Aussies leaving at the end were unintentionally hilarious. “HELLO MR JACK”
I rode this coast last week, it's pretty round and jerky, but it adds to they experience.
Beautiful indoor sections
I got a bit of a headache after riding it once. I'd prefer a more spread out layout with more airtime hills and less intense turns. My favourite wooden roller coaster is Fireball at Happy Valley Shanghai for this reason. I've ridden three wooden roller coasters now lol (Scenic Railway, Fireball and Leviathan)
Wow this looks amazing
I generally avoid ride POVs of attractions I've never been on, but I'd imagine it'll be years or decades before I make it to the Gold Coast so I had to watch this one. It certainly feels fresh, new, & fun with some surprisingly impressive theme in the queue
That loading station is suuuuuupper impressive!!
i do the same with, most roller coasters because i live in australia
Just learned that this park isn't affiliated with the US SeaWorld company. I had figured they were at least leasing the brand. Funny how similar some of the park trajectories are though. Seems like they kind of still borrow from each other. I was a bit jealous of this expansion area because it came just as it became obvious the US parks probably weren't going to give us anything much of anything on the level of the Manta coasters theming going forward and this is the level I'd like.
I want to live in the inside of this queue
Looks awesome
It really does!
Cool coaster, its just that we waited 1 hr and didnt get on as it broke down every ride that day 😂
Looks good for an Aussie ride
@@joelthedreamer4271 I think we don’t get the big budgets the USA rides get cause we don’t turn over as many people
When 8 went on this I questioned my life lol
That backwards seat though…
New podcast episode for this ride??
It sucks that this is not an indoor coaster!!! They could’ve had such a KILLER STORY if this was indoor.
Looks great . Would like to hear your thoughts on this coaster . Wonder how it compares to the likes of Big Thunder, Expedition Everest and Californian Screamer . . How do we rate this coaster at Gold Coast to rest off the world ? I think it’s up their !
Im going to seaworld on the 25th with my friend (note that she has been on this ride previously and i never had) she said it was so much fun and she wanted me to go on it with her. And i really want to aswell… but im still not sure! I have been on the motocoaster at dreamworld before and it was alright im just mostly scared that it’s a little long for me. Also i am sensitive to loud noises so i dont know if it’s gonna be pretty loud. I do have earbuds + muffs but i dont want to wear them because i feel like they will fall off. Can anyone please tell me what this ride feels like if possible? Thanks ❤ also sorry for paragraph 😅
Update: i went today! Sadly i wasn’t able to go on the Leviathan as i started with the trident. The wait felt like 30 min then when it was our turn they stopped it for a few test runs. We decided to go to nick land while we wait then we lined up again. What felt like another 30 min through someone got stuck in their seat and it took a while to get them out. Once they did they decided to do another bajillion test runs so we gave up. Wasted half my day waiting for that dang trident. I did, in fact end up going on storm coaster! It was great fun! I’m still disappointed that we didn’t get to do as much as i wanted tho.
I cannot do this at all! Too scary in my opinion 😂
Woukd be better if it wasn’t a wooden coaster with just drops. It should be a looping steel coaster
Please tell me it did not get too rough with the 2 years it was just sitting there
WHAT IS THE MUSIC AT THE START THE ENTRANCE OF THE RIDE I NEED TO KNOW
Gravity group?
Ya
Bro the line was sooo long and it was so hot too
Im australian and i want to go on it but think it would be to scary 😂
That's Thanksgiving
The tall guy with the white shirt is a total snack 😍
God, I know right. These guys are HOT AF
Guys that do roller coaster vids 😫🔥
...just looks like some average looking dude
To everyone who says this is smooth, it won't be for long
I rode it about 3 days ago and it was one of the roughest rides i have been on. Cousin got a bloody ear when they got thrashed around, wouldn’t recommend unless you are into super rough rides
@@ratzthology not surprising, gravity group woodies are rough I've been on switchback and it Gave a huge headache
yup its super rough 😂
Cant forget the giga
the station and queue doesn’t match the ride
hi
Bit of a lame coaster.. where’s the thrill?
What’re you talking about...?
I rode this last week, it's a great ride.
the one in Canada is better
What’re you talking about....?
