How did you run it? is that steam? Which Proton version do you use?

Steam version. Forced proton-cachyos to make sure frame gen would work, but it should run just fine with regular Experimental too.

This initial area is heavily optimized and not ideal to show real game performance. The performance in the first village is a better indicator.

The first village is a worst case scenario, most of the game performs similarly to this tutorial area.
