I really want to try the Sara Taiwan. Such a unique and delicious paring i have never seen before. Was that Shichimi Togarashi or some other red chili powder added? I plan to try and replicate the noodles and bean sprouts part. The Cha Chu part, that will be a big challenge! I must admit when you showed the Cha Chu bowl with rice, that is my favorite way to have it. Thanks for taking us along!

True, in Australia the pork shoulder comes boneless and wrapped up in a stringy web, at Major Supermarkets, I was hoping to find one without the mesh, I will have to try the butchers :)

I love fried rice made the proper way (with egg). In the United States, you can only seem to get it in major cities with a large Chinese (yes, I know this is a Japanese video) population. I'm from Chicago and we have some of the best fried rice in the country. I now live in central North Carolina and the fried rice they make down here is disgusting. They use yellow rice, don't put the right vegetables in it (if at all), and the most egregious sin they commit is not cooking it with egg.

Any local good butcher you can walk in and ask for the Cut you want, In London UK anyway, Im sure In Sweden too.
