- I had limited time to spend in Costa Rica's capital, San Jose. The day was very bad and it rained all the time. However, I decided to go out there and explore the city center. I got food, checked out the local market and even got a haircut. Everything was overall great except for one thing.
I had just met a local Tica (girl) and it made me wanna extend my stay in San Jose just so I can spend more time with her. For some reason she had such a great energy!

I love Costa Rica!! Pura vida!! I had a blast there, talking to the locals. After a few pina coladas, we were all singing some old school reggaeton songs.. I also like some of the sayings they have. I know how it rains off and on, especially up in the mountains. When it starts to drizzle they call that "pelo de gato." Now we call it that, too!

Going back soon, I collect Boruca masks and score a couple on every trip, most from the National Artists Market. I understand the reggaeton thing but my ears will never be able to cope, drop the ton and I'm ok.

McD burger has a different seeded bun in Costa Rica. Otherwise appears similar. Not enough lettuce, unripe tomato, ketchup is a common McD automatic condiment. The beef I would like to taste the difference. In the US, the only difference I see is in the seeded bread.
