There are lessons there for us of humility, poverty of spirit, respect of other people's culture etc. You need to have a poverty of spirit as the magi to worship a baby. It takes faith to worship a baby, His light does not come to great men but to the humble.

We acknowldeged the barriers created by America's white culture to this day. I travel trans-continental and to this day, Anglo Seventh day Churchs assign Black visitors down the street to another place of worship. Are these messages preached today in the Anglo-Sax churches? Church is not a club with membership privleges, it is a place of worship.
