@@Changezzit’s cause it’s in early access. He’s technically not done with the game yet. Why would you put a game out for free if it’s not done yet, the whole point is to give people who wanna try the game out a first look before anyone else.
The player needs to know what to do right away, or they will just leave. Instead of making them look for something to do, you could have a progress bar that's like "1000xp until you get a new cool bike" and reward xp for doing stunts, completing tracks or doing races. Make each unlockable bike better than the last one. You can also give the player small boosts or custom paints in between so there are more fun rewards.
i bought the game, played it for a bit: Number one issue, the objective of the game is not clear and when spawning in, some low attention span people will not see enough color therefore making them leave. Another issue, races (i honestly forgot if there actually is races or not but i'm gonna bank on that there is) are not too apparent, I should be able to insta-teleport to a racing area if a race is about to start. And one last recommendation, add another objective of the game, such as buying houses, or something along those lines. Or missions for people to do to get more money.

Secret Wraps And Bikes ( Around the map you can find secret bike wraps and bike models ) Alpha Player Rewards ( I suggest a chat tag, and some starting cash, maybe 2.5K - 5K+ for alpha players ON RELEASE ) Jobs ( Police, gets a special police bike, or sirens on their equipped bike whilst they are working in the job. - DOT, gets a bike and can repair random oil leaks or broken street lamps for EXP. Maybe do an EXP level up battle pass of some sort - So as you level up in the job/ career role, you unlock unique items. ) Private Servers ( Like the game ERLC, have private servers PURCHASABLE by players. These players can get kick (Only for their server), ban, P-Ban, teleport, rank (rank players in the server to admin, moderator etc..) abilities ) House ( have an apartment building or house renting GUI so you can buy properties. Have a grid-building system so you can place furniture from a furniture store. - also have a way of inviting players over to your house so you can hang out and show off your place - ) Fan art ( have a room or place somewhere in the map (like a museum) that contains fan art and the player who created it's name. Maybe also have paintings in buildings that contain these too, for more credit, as not too many people would actually FIND the secret room. ) NPC's ( AI drivers around the map to make it feel more populated and less empty, dead etc ) different types of ramp ( some ramps on the map could either, stay the same, be some 'DIY' ramps, so makeshift looking, maybe pallets, planks, nails, etc, or be the regular 'skateboard/'skate park' type ramp ) Nitrous ( You hold a certain button and you go faster with a nitrous ) Exhaust Flame Customization ( Customize the effect that can come out of your exhausts ) These are just SOME IDEAS! I think that the game needs more jumps, not just ramps but jumps built into the map. Maybe dirt ramps or broken fences you can go throw. I also noticed that some of the ramps are on the wrong side of the road, when I am on the right side of the road, there was a ramp facing me that I could not go over

Hey Robuilder, i have recently purchased (and played) your game i have found it very entertaining doing tricks but when it comes to making money I have realised I have almost spent 2 hours saving up for a bike since the moped isn't very reliable, another problem I have found is that in the settings it doesn't exactly state how to do that scrapey thing you keep talking about. Also another reason your game might be failing is because i have noticed that most, if not all races are currently being worked on. overall your game (my bike life) is very fun. p.s. I cant wait for the updates!!!
If your game doesn’t end up doing well after alpha stage, you could still use the map for another game as its actually a really good map for potential for another game genre.
You should definitely add more things to the outskirts of the map as it looks sort of empty. Just small things, like rivers, small ponds, random buildings, like gas stations, water towers, cell towers, just stuff to make it feel more real.
You should add motion sway, along with what 404 animation said (fov camera shake and suspension effects) On top of all that you should find an experienced sound designer to sort out some other task, like the doppler effect which is famous in video games (like mario racing) and other things like several leitmotifs for if you can get a music composer. A bit pricey but it's worth it.
I think you should add some fun stuff like biking quests from npc's(dont make it a quest progression tho like all those bandit beaters), biking competitions, fun competitve stuff like that
My suggestion(s): Make money easier to get, because money feels really slow to gain, which makes me feel bored and not want to grind for a bike that costs 10K for 1 hour..
Some great ideas would be making the races work, possibly adding different vehicles because I know you said no just bikes but look at other popular car games they had cars and eventually added bikes, boats, planes, helicopters, etc. Yet it is still Alpha so just adding racing would be good as of now.
the main thing is that you need more things to do, all you do is get money, ride bikes, and upgrade your bike. there is no traffic dodging or races or missions you can do, which is kinda needed, also the ui is fine, just my opinion
you know, speaking of music on the dream game! i saw an arcade driving game do this with their songs and i'd like to see this on the dream game, my idea/suggestion is to make it the faster you go on the bike the music will get louder and more remixy, i'd like hear how it sounds and i hope it's possible to code in!
About the background music in the game, as a player, I sometimes like to have background music on, but sometimes to I just like to listen on the nature and turn off the background music mostly when I try to roleplay.
That unexpected error roblox needs the quit is definitely on the game I think. Whenever I play the game, it kicks me out if i drive to fast. It only happens in this game
I played the game. I suggest making thr colors darker aswell as making the city more realistic by adding more road markings etc.. Im on mobile and driving fast was bit of a problem because of loading issues. I also suggest adding more building based on the real life chicago

When i saw the trailer for this game my first thought was "Wow this feels like forza horizon but with bikes". I really hope that's the way it will be when finished because that would be so cool to play! Game looks great and i will for sure buy it when it's more finished :)
You should add a Bike Radio and license songs for it as well to put roblox song ids in. can u also add a feature to sell your no longer wanted bikes for cash
the bike paint issue seems like some bikes haven't been registered in a list like local bikes = {bike1, bike3, bike4} where bike2 is the one broken so it thinks bike2 is there and trys it but it isnt so it errors just guessing tho
A lot of people don’t feel there’s enough content ingame yet for the amount that they’re spending on the game at the current time. It’s coming together really well it may have just been to early of a release.
So I bought access to the game and I have to say I'm just missing the content at the moment. When you meet people there, they're mainly at the place with the big ramps, because that's the best place to get money I think, and even that takes time before you can buy a new bike. If you have better bikes, I can't imagine what else you can do. I rode around there for a while, trying out stunts and looking at the environment on the side. It was quite nice in the short term, but nothing where I would say I absolutely have to start again.
kind of a problem: whenever u press the ui navigation button on consoles it opens the leaderboards witch closes the rest of the ui and its super annoying bc u have to click the hide button and show it again bc clicking it again shows it. ps: its really confusing to explain just try to use a controller and youll understand

It’s in alpha so I’m guessing there is a lot more polishing of the aesthetics and such that still needs to be done to make it look better (plus hopefully more possible objectives because right now there seems to be a pretty woeful amount of stuff to do), but alpha games often are just there to kind of mark down the most basic points and such so it’s not really fair to judge the game on the current state. It’s like judging an art piece before it’s finished, sometimes it might look a little goofy lol. Also, saying no hate after telling someone to throw out two years of work is probably still hate.

I don't know if anyone has said this before me but you could make a music option menu so you could have a "play all" so it will play all the music in the Playlist as normal or you could select a single song/music you want to listen to instead of all of them in the play list. That way people can select what they want to listen to instead of just one thing or a bunch. I hope this is a good idea if you do like it leave a heart or something so I know if it's good or not. 07
i think it is kinda useless for players to drive around the map since the main things are all anyways at the spawn how to fix thta maybe: add if u drive to an spot where u‘ve never or havnt been for long u get money
traffic and AI police would make this game so fun and if police are by you for like 10 seconds you will be sent to the prison for like a minutes and in police chases you get a 1.5x multiplier to the tricks and near misses forcing people to try to do tricks making it harder in the police chase also an option to turn off police and also add speed traps for money and I think races would be so fun especially races that just have A BUNCH of people in it that would be so cool also maybe barn finds and like a shopping cart to drive around if you a an alpha tester lol also I would like events when the game is fully out kinda like jail break events you could do like an ice race or a volcano or map changes each event idk it would be cool especially live events like jailbreak and that would make the game super fun
Robuilder, for your scripted and you, just unionize it or have the mesh name as color, and press use part color to your union. Have them all named the same and you will have an easy fix
That crashing that happened in the video could actually be your game, i’ve tried to play just your testing game and 3 times in a row i crashed, but when i played another game it was fine

I would recommend changing the game name from "my bike life" to "bike life" Imo it sounds better and rolls off the tongue smoother. This is just my opinion but imagine a conversation. "hey what's your favorite game?" "My bike life" I think It sounds better like "Hey what's your favorite game?" "Bike life" This might make you get more players.
I would say your game is actually not falling, to have a game at your stage of development that cost 199 robux and have some active players along with the many others that bought, is actually an amazing start. However, I'd say this is moreso because of your channel rather than the game alone.

As you changing game to the paid access, you will increase a bit avg. age of players, but it cost you with less activity. (Means there is a lot people without any robux). Do not make your game paid access, unless if you understand, that's you will get almost 0 activity. Free games are 99% p2w, so because of price they still alive. (Like psx).
The real reason is just like any other Vehicle Game, yes is done very well like all others but dont have anything special, Make it Special Unique, maybe even simple something like Apple did, be unique and make a Cover game ADs Unique not copycat, this game is good but need something cool and very unique, maybe like custom physics, a very cool suspension script system stuff like this, make the UI
The ui is not a problem, the only problems are that it's paid access, the niche is kinda small cuz there arent tons of people who want to play bike games unlike other games and the game is still in development. Also the gameplay is very boring, you just drive around and go on ramps and that's all not counting quests and stuff like that. There is no problem in the design and aestethics of the game.
I bought the game and have come to a conclusion that suspension should be added to the bikes. Without it, it appears as stiff as you have stated in the video. With suspension, it will bring liveliness to the bikes and overall improve the quality of the game.
please make it free access and rather either play alot to get bikes, and pay for tricks. Or you can grind, please hrie a professional builder as well I don't want to discredit you but your work is outdated its not longer like top tier building it used to be like 2 years ago. Optimization like you said, new ui, new logo the speedometer ui is good as well. traffic and AI police would make this game so fun and if police are by you for like 10 seconds you will be sent to the prison for like a minutes and in police chases you get a 1.5x multiplier to the tricks and near misses forcing people to try to do tricks making it harder in the police chase also an option to turn off police and also add speed traps for money and I think races would be so fun especially races that just have A BUNCH of people in it that would be so cool also maybe barn finds and like a shopping cart to drive around if you a an alpha tester lol also I would like events when the game is fully out kinda like jail break events you could do like an ice race or a volcano or map changes each event idk it would be cool especially live events like jailbreak and that would make the game super fun
Can you add console support
Robuilder, for your scripted and you, just unionize it or have the mesh name as color, and press use part color to your union. Have them all named the same and you will have an easy fix

That crashing that happened in the video could actually be your game, i’ve tried to play just your testing game and 3 times in a row i crashed, but when i played another game it was fine

I think this game could use more to do (ik its in alpha) but every time I get into the game, it's just out right boring.

I would recommend changing the game name from "my bike life" to "bike life" Imo it sounds better and rolls off the tongue smoother.

I would say your game is actually not falling, to have a game at your stage of development that cost 199 robux and have some active players along with the many others that bought, is actually an amazing start. However, I'd say this is moreso because of your channel rather than the game alone.

ill definitely say the game being paid rn is currently the main problem, its an alpha so i understood that the quality wouldn't be perfect, but to some people they probably bought it and just didnt think it was worth the current price tag, i still enjoyed myself from what i played but its 100% a big problem for some
i dont think your failing , for example aftermath [roblox survival game] is popular bc alot more people like zombies and fairly runs better , also i think it was cheaper by couple bucks free on weekends and got a bigger studio [not incluting that the game is already known fairly well , you only promote your game on channer or dc , have a smaller studio blah blah , the game i mentioned are fairly better or some things or another than other game but still good , one just has the fame check done and one doesnt

As you changing game to the paid access, you will increase a bit avg. age of players, but it cost you with less activity. (Means there is a lot people without any robux).
Do not make your game paid access, unless if you understand, that's you will get almost 0 activity. Free games are 99% p2w, so because of price they still alive. (Like psx).

The real reason is just like any other Vehicle Game, yes is done very well like all others but dont have anything special, Make it Special Unique, maybe even simple something like Apple did, be unique and make a Cover game ADs Unique not copycat, this game is good but need something cool and very unique, maybe like custom physics, a very cool suspension script system stuff like this, make the UI

The ui is not a problem, the only problems are that it's paid access, the niche is kinda small cuz there arent tons of people who want to play bike games unlike other games and the game is still in development. Also the gameplay is very boring, you just drive around and go on ramps and that's all not counting quests and stuff like that. There is no problem in the design and aestethics of the game.
I bought the game and have come to a conclusion that suspension should be added to the bikes. Without it, it appears as stiff as you have stated in the video. With suspension, it will bring liveliness to the bikes and overall improve the quality of the game.
When the game is out of Alpha phase and goes free, it’ll be 10x more popular
please make it free access and rather either play alot to get bikes, and pay for tricks. Or you can grind, please hrie a professional builder as well I don't want to discredit you but your work is outdated its not longer like top tier building it used to be like 2 years ago. Optimization like you said, new ui, new logo the speedometer ui is good as well. It would be great if the bike felt real and didnt seem like it was going super, super, fast, at least add like tuning if people want to go super super fast like that but make it more realistic please. Also hire a professional sound designer that would be a big thing. Add races, make the bike very customizable add like realistic tuning as well. Please just make the bikes feel real and the wheelie control feel real. please, please, please, i'm so happy someone which cares for motorcycles is making a game but im saddened by the way its coming out. If you could also add like traffic servers as well. So that your game will have alot of things to do, add seperate servers for like cutting up in traffing also add like a leaning system to be realistic, and a realistic first person when driving so lets say you move your mouse up the handles will come back and the bike will go up and put you in a wheelie. Make it realistic
And also the dislikes are because you haven't fixed the things I mentioned
