    I saw the other recipe in other channel didn't use any crayfish or black pepper in the sauce. Is it okay to not use it? Or the original we must use it? Because I am not African and I don't know at all how it should taste. But I want to try to make it. Hope i got the answer.

    Can you use vegetable oil instead of palm oil?

    • @cheflolaskitchen
      @cheflolaskitchen  5 лет назад

      Yes you can use vegetable oil. It will only be lacking that deep traditional taste; however it will still turn out very delicious!

    • @cheflolaskitchen
      @cheflolaskitchen  7 лет назад

      Yes Deevy, it's all pepper! the original recipe doesn't require Tomatoes but you can tweak the recipe if you will like to try it. I'll suggest adding some dried (rehydrated) Tomatoes if you can't stand the heat.
