Wonderfull video..but..why is this short distance..taking more than 3 hours? But..maybe im wrong...how long is the walk distance?
Hi Remco, thanks for watching! If you can believe it, this hike covers roughly 8 miles and has just shy of 3,000 ft elevation gain with quite a bit of uneven surfaces and rock structures to climb (hence the camera seeming to be pointing at the ground periodically throughout the uphill climb) so it takes a bit more time.
@@theoutdoorsbroughtindoors1546 you made great time given all the scrambling you did. With your audio would we have heard a few “special words” as you gazed up a 40% grade? I might have said out loud, nah no need for any switchbacks…
the natural sounds of the area would have been nice. couldn't bother watching entire video.
Thanks Kat for the feedback! Unfortunately the audio from my hikes leaves much to be desired as nature tends to be very quiet while the wind, clothing, talking, and footsteps tend to be the main source of audio. I don't want to distort perceptions of a hike with manufactured sounds of nature, rather allow viewers to use their imagination or play their own choice of soothing audio while they watch.
