A wonderful insight to truly become more effective and effective.. I stepped away from cad for 10 years and now getting back into it again. This is exactly what I was seeing too. So I’m actively looking for ways to embrace the new practices. I will need to see what you have done more recently..

I am a beginner SW user (~2yrs experience) and tried the first exercise. Would it not be better to have the holes and square cutout included in the Boss-Extrude1 sketch?

I suppose it's a little subjective to what you value, but one reason you wouldn't want to do that is because it becomes harder to tell how to modify it at a glance. Especially when the model is complex with many features.
If it were a race though it would probably be faster to do it all in 1 sketch. Also, I would guess that having less features has a little better performance.

42:48 Kinda weird that creating a speedpak doesn't assume that you want to use it as well.
