  • Visit to the historic Church Studio on Admiral Blvd in Tulsa OK on July 14, 1999. Among those who have recorded at the Church were Eric Clapton and Tulsa's own Leon Russell. Interviews included in this story are with vocalist Steve Ripley (The Tractors) and drummer Jamie Oldaker (Rogues Five)

Now that's really cool. Church still goes on although Leon is long gone.

Just came across this video again and read my own comment. I’d like to proudly say that I did visit Tulsa and the Church Studio last summer. It appears to have been remodeled and under new ownership since this video was originally recorded. Glad to see it’s still very much active for musicians, including Mike Campbell of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers who just recorded a new album there.
