RUclips, it's been a while! Things have been pretty crazy in my life recently so I haven't been able to upload as much as I'd like, but I'm hoping that will change soon.
This piece is one that I started learning many years ago and is an absolutely gorgeous piece of music. Ravel's Jeux d'eau (or "water games") is the piece in question-what a work of art! The genius of this music lies partly in the ingenuity of the textures he used to evoke water and partly in the gorgeous harmonies and breadth of characters throughout the piece. It's definitely not easy to play, but it's worth the effort in the end.
Stay tuned for more content very soon!

Me Either!
Sir how piano i will buy...
Lovely playing of this famous water piece for piano. You make all the tricky passagework sound so easy/transparent. Bravo man!
Thanks Erik, I appreciate it!
Wow, amazing work! Very flowy and clean, and you were able to bring out the color and watery feel! This is insanely difficult indeed, fingers tend to slip and hit neighbor notes, and musicality has to be perfect while playing fast.
Thanks, glad you like it! :)
This must've taken an incredible amount of work to put together. Well done.
It's really beautiful, and I love how the keys light up, so many keys, such movement up and down the keyboard
Oh wow, that is simple sounding, yet amazing

The way you imitate the flow of water, music to my ears
exactly thats like crazy to think that ravel himself composed and concepted something like this even tho he wasnt even able to play his own pieces
'Water-play', YUP, I can see this as the backdrop to one of the grandest water fountains of the world! The sheet music for this must look insane. I'd have to hear this over and over again to even BEGIN absorbing this into my psyche, 'kind of like staring at a fine impressionistic painting to admire each brush stroke. I can see this as being a semester-long study project for someone accomplished (like you.) This was NO JOKE! EXCELLENT work! Thank you for blessing us with such beauty and sharing such talent.❤
Normal fingers : ...... ( nothing )
Your fingers : Im speed
I am working on this piece and this helped me a lot. Thanks for this piece! It's one of my favorites :)
this is insanely great!
Your Grandma and I are sitting in the conservatory listening to this, and loving it.
Probably the most insane shit I have heard/witnessed on the piano. Mesmerizing
Happy Christmas, that was very skilful and good, Keep up the excellent work
This will be EPICO!
I HopeSo!
Truly MESMERIZING! I'm in awe.
That's some magic this dude's got in his hands. Wow
Your piano always brightens the start to my day!
So beautiful... Thank you ❤️
Brilliantly played! Bravo!!
Bravo!
Hello Jonathan, the piece looks very demanding and hard to play - but you mastered it fantastic with a great ease! Very nice to watch your fingers dance on the keys with this elegance. I love playing with crossing hands. A big bravo for you. Greetings Liam
Good job, Thank you!

Him: Plays the whole piece with easy

4:24 sneak peak to his Gaspard de la Nuit.
Super nice.
This made me watch your channel
❤
Wow!
An insanely Difficult piece indeed!
Vine del miguelcracks:D
Very good. I personally think the difficulty of Jeux D'eau is on par with Scarbo
YOU SAID WHAT????????!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? I THINK YOU'RE DELUSIONAL!!! The hell you mean on par with scarbo? This is nowhere near the level of scarbo!
Scarbo is at least 10 times harder than this
Wow...
Wow
To te person who thought I meant biased in live chat: no, I did mean based. Based means good.
Anyway, I haven't watched your videos in a while but they're really amazing, I should start watching thrm more often. Keep it up!
Sounds a lot like a piano piece Debussy would write (I hear quite a bit of Claire Du Lune in this) only this is a lot more difficult and complex than anything I’ve heard from Debussy.
Ravel was just godly.
Ravel has a more jazzy sound to it
Debussy's work sounds calm, yet experimental
Well both were French, and Maurice Ravel was himself influenced by Claude Debussy
Lol Debussy made some crazy stuff too. Clair de lune or abarasque are no where near his most difficult pieces.
Debussy's Etudes is way more complex than this
Omg!!!! Even Rousseau didn't play these
Grande makida

This sounds like something from la campanella.
This is beautiful!
When you play it it looks sooo easy! LOL
Are your hands 10 keys?
Let me guess on your answer in the comments.
Playing the piano for 20 years practising this piece took about 2 weeks performer level ready.
Took 1 hour to undust it for playing it this time. :)
Nice video, song and hands lol
You didn't have to flex on me that hard man. Come on.
Geezus, this looks harder than Chopin Etudes
Just for reference, how would u compare the difficulty of this to Kapustin etude 1?

So hard
IWhat version of the work did you get inspired by?
Goofy interpritation but still well played!
You play very well >:3!!!
You just make it look 10 times easier lmao
If I practiced for 40 hours a day instead of 30 I’d be able to play this but I’m lazy
It has literally taken me over 6 months to get to 1:33
What BPM is this??
Is it necessary to cross hands at 1:45?
Yes ! Ravel wrote that
Just wow... nothing else to say
Reklama to napiszę ci się podoba bo mi się że nie odpisałam

I- how?
This section is probably one of the easiest part
Notes before are harder to manage
I really feel that the best version is that of Marta Argeric
Wow... how long did this take to learn?
I learned this piece a few years ago. I don't remember how long it took though!
Yo estoy aquí gracias a mikecrack :^ xD

Congrats! You didn't cheat nor omit some notes, played everything he wrote. *BUT* I gotta say a thing or two. First of all, this is not the _insanely difficult_ piece by Ravel. Try Gaspard de la Nuit, Miroirs, Le Tombeau de Couperin, La Valse or even Valses Nobles et Sentimentales, or even Menuet Antique for god's sake! Also, I only heard mezzoforte and maybe a tiny bit of forte in your playing. Yet there are plenty of pianissimos and a fff right on the tremolo with the fermata lunga. Besides, personally, I prefer a more effective approach. you know Ravel was a huge admirer or Liszt and has the essence of Liszt quite a lot in is piano works, especially in Jeux D'eau. So why not pay our respects to Liszt. And instead of the Beethoven like articulation, I would rather go with a more foggy approach.
Part of me believes that if you can play this you could play ff7 For those who fight
Insanely difficult, but in my opinion this piece apart from little segments doesn't sound that beautiful. Not because your playstyle, because of its composition in general, too many up and downs for my taste.
Anyway, well played as always.
Yes, is strange in harmony, but very beautiful too, the end is the best I heard in my life
do u think this piece is harder then une barque sur l'ocean?
Wow
