This girl...she was my younger sister’s college roommate in Colorado. I remember hanging out at their little home, watching her drag her guitar around everywhere, attached like a child to their teddy. She’s soooo soulful and talented, and it’s so beautiful and serendipitous to see her fulfill her dreams. If only we could all be so passionate about what we love and make it work for us. Honestly... it's sad, such a powerful and fantastic voice gets drowned out by popularity. I feel like Lissie is trapped in her time, born a generation ago she would have been appreciated by many more, her fantastic mezzo-soprano voice is wasted today. She is a my favorite female vocalist, even today, honestly the most unique and fantastic female voice I've heard unrecorded. Listen to her live, one of the rare artists that sounds better than any recording.

Lissie has done quite a few covers, this one and "Go Your Own Way" both from Fleetwood Mac, are the best, not just from her. One of the best covers ever. Dreams is so close to the original but somehow original. One has to love Lissie for her nuance. One has to love Lissie....period.

I first heard her cover Go Your Own Way and was amazed at the way she interpreted it. I actually thought it was better than the original. Her cover here is flawless. I agreed with the other comments wondering why she isn’t a superstar because her original material is also amazing 🫶🏼

Every song Lissie covers is done so magically brilliantly well. I love her original stuff; there’s no doubt she’s mega talented all around. But there is something so special about her taking familiar songs and keeping the slightly familiar melodies but still arranging it in a way that feels unique. I love her husky somber tones and tinges that she colors these songs with. She is so special. I think she deserves more accolades. But Part of me likes that she’s still relatively obscure - it’s like our own secret club, and only a select few can feel and experience these glorious musical moments.
