(0:00) Hello. This is my hair dance dry shampoo and volumizing powder. I was actually just about to put some on, and I figured you might want to watch, see how it works, and if it might be something that you could use.
I'm going to tell you why I bought it, what I think about it, and if I plan on buying it again since I am running very low. Some things that might be important to you that are good to note is that it is hair been free, it is aluminum free, it is not tested on animals. You can use it on light or dark.
(0:30) Hair smells like lavender, you can use it on textured hair, all ages, all genders, and it is (0:37) health and corn free as well. Ooh, it is women owned too, that is cool, I didn't see that. What else does it say here? (0:43) They donate to make in the USA organic, natural, and vegan friendly.
Ever since a lot of dry shampoo sprays were recalled, my husband and I have been a little bit nervous about it so we threw all of those away, and I was on the hunt for a good (1:00) powder dry shampoo that would do the same work without the added ingredient that we're trying to watch out for. Depending on how often you use it, it says it can last between five months and a year. (1:11) I'm right at five months since I bought it, I don't use it every day, I may use it pretty heavy on the days that I do use it, so you might last a little bit shorter for you, but the point is, is for this little bottle, it lasts longer than you'd expect.
(1:30) I don't know if it's the right way to go the wrong way, but it works for me. If you've got your own way, implement that, I guess. But I always start by brushing my hair out.
(1:39) So here's my before, just flat, kind of lifeless, a little bit greasy. Okay, so when you first get it, you want to tap it on the surface. (1:47) So you get all the powder to settle so it doesn't like, when you open it.
Now I'm going to twist the top open, I've got a little mirror here so that's why I'm looking off the side. (1:58) So what I do, they recommend either putting it in between sections of hair and laying your hair back down, letting it absorb your moisture, or you can kind of put it all over to have to tap and brush it out. So depending on what you have, if you've got like tight curls or something, you don't want to brush it out.
(2:16) You can put it in between layers, maybe give it a little bit of a figure massage, nail massage, and you'll be good to go. (2:22) People go like this, you see it coming out. I like to do it this way on the very top of my head because it's more visible and this way it's easier for me to blend it in.
(2:35) And then I usually use this to part my hair and I go on with some little squeezes. (2:43) And don't worry if it gets on your face or whatever, it's very easy to absorb. (2:48) Again, like what do I know? (2:51) If you know how to better put on dry shampoo, then do it.
Maybe I'm using way too much. (2:55) Anyway, oh, it smells so good. (2:58) So then already you can probably see some volume, I'm going to look in the mirror, I'm rubbing it in.
(3:02) So there's a little bit of white on top of my head. (3:04) It's no problem. (3:05) You can just rub it in, it goes really fast.
(3:09) Wipe it off your shirt, you see how easy that was, wipe it off your face. (3:13) And, you know, my hair's drier with a little bit more volume, I think. (3:18) Let me see.
(3:21) I'm like, it's going to get all of your sink and it's going to get all over your stuff, (3:25) but it's really easy to clean up and just like blow away or brush away. (3:30) So for me, I'm not worried about it. (3:32) So anyway, I do a little bit of a head massage here.
(3:33) I can already feel it kind of getting some volume and drying it up. (3:36) And then I'm going to brush through for me because I've got really thin, (3:39) like my hair just looks tangled easily, that's my vibe. (3:47) So not dramatic, but enough to take away some sheeting, give you a tiny bit of volume, (3:53) make you feel a little more confident.
