August 24, 2024 - When surfing, please HOLD ON TO YOUR BOARDS! things could of been bad.

Ohana got hurt middle of session as a guy lost control of his board. Wether he let go or lost grip doesn't really matter he could of hurt someone really bad. Luckily she only got hit on the shoulder with the heavy longboard... it could of been way worse! PLEASE HOLD ON TO YOUR BOARD AND ALWAYS BE AWARE OF WHO IS NEAR YOU in case you need to bail your board! He did apologize after finding out what he did but it seemed like he was not aware and in full control of his board as I watched him bail off his board just kicking it out from under him. :( -
It was a small day, lots of people out, water was super nice though.

I remember this weekend. I think I surfed down the beach and then stopped by to say hello. :( Glad it wasn't worse, it could have easily been way worse.
You guys were playing musical surfboards that day. haha
