Indian food is amazing comfort food for me. I love chicken biryiani too. And I’m pretty sure that there’s been Indian immigrants to the West Indies in the past so the flavours are probably familiar to you.

Actually ancient India used to be the hub of spices and once 100% of the world spice were grown here only. Spices from here were exported to whole of South-Asia, Africa and middle-east. So you will find similar spicy food in these regions.

The yoghurt is meant to be a coolant for the biryani.. If the biryani gets spicy u can have a taste of yoghurt in between. The naan always pairs up with gravies, curries, vegetables and chicken. After the naan is finished you can even have rice with gravies, curries etc. Just dont pair rice with naan... If you eat it right you will enjoy the food even better. Love from India 🇮🇳
