Balladin has two big things going for it in Cruciball: 1) It has a tendency to Muscircle, which actually enjoys the fact that there's less crits on the board in Cruciball. 2) Because of the focus on Ballwark, the cost of healing is significantly less of an issue than on other goblins. That said, a while ago Balladin was *crazy good* on Crucible because it used to get Muscircle for Ballwark and Ballwark for Muscircle naturally, making it rather consistent to get a build that can succeed well. These powers have since been turned into rare relics and in return gave Balladin some ballwark at the start of every combat.
We always love a build which actually plays as intended to the final boss! Far too many times does Tom work hard on a build, only for it to be overshadowed when a side effect nukes the final boss, but not this time!
What would've happened in the second to last mirror fight if he had removed his Bucklorb? The Protectorbs don't attack so the mirrors don't reflect, with no bombs no one would be able to do damage. Is he just soft locked?
I assume the 999[1] rounds limit still makes you lose. You don't get an indicator, but it was something that happened a few times to me. I was honestly surprised that it was something the developers though of. [1] Seemed like ~1000 round to me. I never bothered to read the memory to see when it rolled over. Maybe 1024 or another base-2 number.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1823 OOO new Orbelisk :D can't wait to see that in action Multiball Always makes sense, no matter what Tom's here to throw balls, not read First boss rematch is always such a joy Ok, goodness that end, I tell you, big agree here, such a solid and well built build :D everything just worked together so nicely
It also depends on how long it takes to win each round. I LOVE thorns builds, but in many games they end up being SUPER grindy. Do A, then B, then C, get hit, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, win. Okay next fight
This build in the endgame was interesting enough that it actually got my attention away from Satisfactory to watch my second monitor, which is no mean feat.
Last mino shot, hmm, i need 6 pegs and i have this side without coins and this with coins, im garanteed not to fuck up, better go to the side without coins so i dont get the 5 coins
Pacifism means avoiding all conflict. If you win, you aren't being a pacifist. That's one of the things people misunderstand about pacifism. If you are trying to actually get something done, you aren't being pacifist. Non-violence and pacifism are not the same thing.
0:07 Molten Gold, a fav starting bonus relic ... afford your orbs, upgrades and shops later on 🪙 14:23 You have an almost completely upgraded deck ... why not double up on it? 👯 22:45 I've never taken the lose half your orbs event ... you took it out of a misread ➗
"I don't have blood, I have armor" is a great line
sounds like a certain knight that Patricia stabbed for a trinket
@@VanBourner Luckily I still have my Amulet of Brain Rot!
Yeah!
The enthusiasm on that last "POW" for the last boss was amazing!
A Tom build where the actual build got the boss kill and not just some random last edition orb? A true jinglemas miracle
'Tis a joyous Festag indeed.

22:45 Tom no read guud.
Ripostal Service is such a great relic. The dragon basically killed itself after I got a billion shields.
oh man, Tom actually ended a run the way he intended, what a run!
Just to note: There are self damage abilities that only trigger when you lose health, so they do nothing when you have shields to eat the damage.
Actually a build where multiball makes sense to get more ballwark
Pegging with protection ♥️😊
Will be fun to see all your different builds for the side guys!
Sir Tom, You have become my favorite creator. Im glad you do this channel as well as everything else.
The emperor protects.
Last time I was this early I had to spent 3 months in an incubator
Hahaha, I haven't heard this before but that's a good one.
Hilarious

Not sure if I've ever been this early. But this is my favorite gameplay of yours Tom
2:06 CLEAN SLATE!
"I know what you're thinking, but I feel like it makes sense, here!" - Tom, literally EVERY time he comes across a Matryoshka Shell
Oh it's the classic "Stop hitting yourself" strat, love it!
More balls more good
20:44 would they have done damage?
I MUST KNOW.
So, for 2:12 - Tom has had a bit of a go with new Orbelisk in the Member's Cruciball series to some surprising results.
The new orbelisk update was added in v1.0.6 but his cruciball run was still on v1.0.5. Which makes his acheivement in that run even more insane.
@malonetv721 Oh man, that was still _before_ this update? Absolutely wild.
Havent seen that build in my runs yet. Nice

Crucibal with Balladin, here we go!
what a delightful, satisfying ending.
Tom finally discovers the true power of bulwark :-)
Tom losing half his orbs for not reading was hilarious.
Super satisfying ending. Nice run!
Was hoping he would take advantage of the extra ballwark on creation/destruction of shields, but cool run nonetheless!
Love it! How is Peglin still so good
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1823
OOO new Orbelisk :D can't wait to see that in action
Multiball Always makes sense, no matter what
Tom's here to throw balls, not read
First boss rematch is always such a joy
Ok, goodness that end, I tell you, big agree here, such a solid and well built build :D everything just worked together so nicely
This was a legendary build
I call this the "Come at me Bro!" Build! Sadly Cruciball really hamstrings your item choice/range once you hit 19 w/ Balladin :(
Thorns is always a fun mechanic. Just depends how hard it is to actually pull off.
It also depends on how long it takes to win each round.
I LOVE thorns builds, but in many games they end up being SUPER grindy.

Okay next fight
I love a good thorns build
How many people didn't get that he was saying Knighttime and thought he was calling the castle nighttime even though the mines is the dark zone?
You're right, I should continue trying to cruciball 20 every class
A build that doesn't have it's kill stolen is a good build
Lol 😅 what did I just watch
" You are no match for my patented break your fist upon my face technique!"
Challenge run: Not taking multiball. Difficulty: actually impossible
that was a fun run.
i like me to watch some good peglin
This build in the endgame was interesting enough that it actually got my attention away from Satisfactory to watch my second monitor, which is no mean feat.
Never say no to multiball
i love baaAAAAAaaaalllls
Last mino shot, hmm, i need 6 pegs and i have this side without coins and this with coins, im garanteed not to fuck up, better go to the side without coins so i dont get the 5 coins
the...pacifist(?) build(?)
