My dad has stage 5 kidney failure and he has been in and out of the hospital since December. He went back to the hospital tonight because he couldn't stop throwing up and he was shaking uncontrollably. He's only 39 years old and has a wife and 7 kids. This music has helped me through so many hard times in my life. In moments like these I turn to this music knowing that if it is in God's will, he will help my family see through this tough time. The Lord has used this song and so many other of your songs to shine a light into the darkness that surrounded us and threatened to engulf us when our then 12 year old daughter disclosed that she was self harming and then went on to attempt to take her life twice, and the subsequent disclosures she made that rocked our world. The Lord used this song to remind my husband and I that Jesus is truly with us in the storm like in Psalm 46. And that He can be our hiding place and satisfy us and give us wisdom when nothing else makes sense. Currently going through some battles. Listening to this in my car and imagining Jesus is in the passenger seat placing his hands on me. He is the only thing that satisfies.
As I struggle with sin in this flesh, may I persevere, nevertheless may I not fall into the materialistic worldly desires. I have so much to learn. But I pray ultimately that the Lord may have me recognize their is a end to this life where I will meet my savior who spilled his blood which I am justified by. May I be satisfied in Christ alone

The Lord has used this song and so many other of your songs to shine a light into the darkness that surrounded us and threatened to engulf us when our then 12 year old daughter disclosed that she was self harming and then went on to attempt to take her life twice, and the subsequent disclosures she made that rocked our world.
The Lord used this song to remind my husband and I that Jesus is truly with us in the storm like in Psalm 46. And that He can be our hiding place and satisfy us and give us wisdom when nothing else makes sense. I pray for everyone who hears this song that the Lord God will be with them to weather the Storm, for He is truly in control
