cool find bro! very nice! the only new crt monitor ive ever seen was the one that i got for christmas with the family pc! it was a dell dimension 2300 i think we got it for christmas in like 02-03 maybe? it was when low spec desktops were 1000$ and you could actually call dell and order it! i think my uncle still has that computer cuz we gave it to him years ago! i wonder if it still works!
Image quality looks great. I would have checked the insides before turning it on though. Especially make sure the capacitors are not leaking. 2004 was around the time of the capacitor plague.
I will have to check the capacitors. I didn't think about that. I also want to see if there is a sharpness adjustment inside. On my 20" Dell CRT it had a sharpness adjustment when you take off the rear housing.
@@CRPony2-zk4fn Just be careful if you do check the caps. Some of them can be pretty beefy on the volts side and can give a nasty shock. Also working around a CRT etc has a lot of electricity even after the monitor is un-plugged.
Wow that monitor is nice, try to make it last by using it at low contrast and stuff , i would be freaking out if i got my hands on a new crt :o enjoy man
Kick ass bro. Everything Old is New again. 🎉
I run my Samsung SyncMaster 753v on 1024X768 at 85H. Smooth picture and video.
