Great video and walk through. Thank you so much. For a future video can you do a 60L and include a mesh stretchy panel for the back and water bottle pockets for the side? I would like it to have an option for a hip belt with pockets. These are awesome videos and allows us to experiment as we go with a base line to start with.

Awesome video, you explain everything so clearly. Maybe next you can design a couple sizes bigger so I can make all different sizes for all my needs. Thanks for such great videos.

This is too advanced for me now, but i am hoping to make this soon. I hope you will consider making more backpack videos, like ones with laptop compartments. Thanks.

Stupid question. When you add your bias tape to the edges that are sewn at 1/4" seam allowance, does the bias tape stich fall to the inside or out side of the seam allowance stitch?
Because if it's the inside of allowance you would have to make sure that it's done well because that's the noticeable stitch to finished product?
PS, great video, finally have a back pack pattern to give a try now that my skills have improved.

Hi. What is the total you spent on materials ? Would it be ok ( tough & sturdy enough) to take it onto a plane, train..etc? I like the colors you chose. Is this a beginner project ? Thx

Awesome pattern. The only problem is that there is no instructions to put it together. Have to watch the tutorial to make the bag. Could you please send me instructions. I like to follow instructions and if I have a problem then I look for a tutorial. Thanks

Is the heavy duty worth it, or do you recommend to rather go for the industrial machine once and for all? I want to make bags for selling, but I don't really have a high rhythm of production... and either way I would have to save for a while before buying. I am not selling my products yet. Any advice?

The only thing I would want to add to this, would be a strap on the packed backpack so it can be carried like a small shoulder bag. Or strap so it could be a "fanny" pack until you need to unpack the backpack.

Great Video. Just wish you could slow down a little, I think you are the fastest talker I have ever heard, LOL. Just so hard to follow the instructions since none of the written instructions explain how to put it all together without watching the corresponding video. LOL

Wait wait wait, are you telling me that I can, actually, with the help of my mother in law, create my own backpack for the mountains where I can actually fit all my coffee gear, camera and some essentials things to camp? Are you actually telling me that I can?
