      @@lorddoomer7271 You are correct. Unfortunately that only proves the weakness of Transformers Universes. Not the strength of Unicron. Both Primus and Unicron have a massive scroll list of feats that are quite limited. (Primus is the creator-god of light and the multiverse but cannot create Magic, New technologies, races of transformers immune to Unicron's evil and corruption (Including the 13 Primes), etc.) His greatest creations are the Matrix of Leadership, Vector Sigma, and the All-Spark (Each representing an aspect of Primus.... and all mostly useless against Unicron except the matrix and they only delay the inevitable in the cosmic robo war). Pretty weak for the "creator god". Unicron also has a massive host of abilities, which like Primus, sound big but are also very limited. His ability to destroy is not like Berus in Dragonball (Hakai). He still has to physically go and hit the target. Darkseid is better than that with his eye beams. His presence corrupts, but read how many times Transformers go near him, in him, and fight him without getting corrupted. That means the ability is either random or must be activated. Also none of them have shown that they emulate galxy destroying blasts. Most of the top tier in marvel do. Unicron most likely would lose to Thor (Not even counting Odinforce/Runemaster/etc.) and I'm not even counting Magic (which Unicron has little to no defense against). This is strongest in the universe of wood vs. strongest in the universe of metal. Who do you think wins?

      @@dr1742 Limited? I'm betting right now that you don't know anything about the tf verse.
      nobody ever went near unicron without getting corrupted.( Except in the g1 continuity, but that can be excused as him being the weaker avatars).
      And how does it prove the weakness of transformers universe? Primus and unicron are two halves of their omnipotent god "the one"and hence only they can stand against each other.
      Primus couldn't make the 13 primes immune to unicrons corruption because their power levels are mostly equal in magnitude( unicron more powerful, but Primus is the wiser one amongst the two).
      Unicrons existence itself destroys space time. He casually destroyed the multiverse twice( and one of those times, transformers were a part of Marvel, so for the record, unicron has already defeated galactus)
      Unicron also casually destroyed the anti matrix, which holds and manipulates the entire zero space( zero space is the beginning and end of all existence).
      The fight between unicron and Primus was going to end the multiverse just as a side effect, until unicron was tricked by his brother, Primus.
      The magnitude of their powers effectively has not limit.
      Unicron casually replicates himself through the infinite curve ( the multiverse) in order to get an edge against his brother.
      And if you think that the Marvel multiverse is bigger than the tf verse, then please join discord so I can show you the scans that prove otherwise.

      @@toxicflame9783 Unicron literally wiped out a multiverse, in astral form, before ever having a physical form. Galen *survived* the destruction of the prior universe, gained his Hunger, and became Galactus. Unicron 'exists as long as evil does', and even after he stopped being a multiversal singularity (which would have destroyed the omniverse if not fragmented), he still could sense other versions of himself across different multiverses, and snatch heralds from multiverses where he already won, etc. Galactus was eaten by zombies. Galactus was one-shot by a non-Cosmic superhero flying through him fast enough. Galactus was literally talked out of eating Earth by Squirrel Girl and instead went off to eat a world with no life that tasted like nuts. You cannot honestly expect me to believe that Unicron-especially with all the evidence in comic pages that Death Battle flashed across the screen yet chose to ignore, in addition to other materials they didn't cite-could be taken down by Galactus. Nux, the multiverse wasn't destroyed and remade without Unicron, because Unicron merged with the nullifier technology like cybertronians do with other technology and fired it himself. Galactus just avoided its attack by going into his private pocket universe, exited it when it was safe, ate Unicron, and thus Evil, Chaos, and Destruction have become merely a small part of Galactus.

    • @galaxycamerata
      @galaxycamerata 10 месяцев назад +87

      I think its a bit deeper than that.
      When Galactus said "YOU KNOW NOT THE POWER YOU COMMND", he didn't mean "The Ultimate Nullifier is too strong for you", he meant "The Ultimate Nullifier's power is MY power, because it's a part of my being."
      By possessing the Ultimate Nullifier, Unicron literally GAVE himself to Galactus in mind, body and soul.
      Galactus absorbed him so easily because the new universe likely reasoned that Unicron = Nullifier, and Nullifier = part of Galactus, then Unicron = part of Galactus

    • @marmyeater
      @marmyeater 10 месяцев назад +20

    • @Megamanlanprime
      @Megamanlanprime 10 месяцев назад +16

      The thing is Unicron does have resistances to being consumed like that, and should be able to consume Galactus too. He’s known for energy absorption and can use even normal Energon to enhance his power. Really this fight probably should have been longer, but I’m pretty sure they discounted a lot - like how Galactus has been infected with a Zombie plague before, almost everything from the Japanese continuities, Unicron’s ability to absorb cosmic energies like the Power Cosmic, and even the comic that mentions that Unicron has consumed a Multiverse before… he just was stopped before he could consume the last bits of matter and split apart to attempt to weaken him.
      Also yea… possessing something like the Ultimate Nullifier doesn’t matter for making Unicron easier to consume as various TF canons have noted that when an item is possessed or becomes part of the Transformer, they have complete control over it, and not its previous user. See the Headmasters, Targetmasters and others for proof there.

    • @galaxycamerata
      @galaxycamerata 10 месяцев назад +11

      The problem there is that it isn't just an item. The Ultimate Nullifier is literally as much a part of Galactus as his eyes. Made of and powered by the Power Cosmic. And so, by possessing it, Unicron again becomes PART of Galactus. And since Galactus resists corruption and external control very handily, theres only one other way for that interaction to go; Unicron is subsumed.
      I say all this AS a transformers fan, that Unicron ultimately lacks the tools necessary to actually beat Galactus in a straight fight; his best options involve steering clear or attempting subterfuge, and those arent options in this series.

    • @ramzisalim2592
      @ramzisalim2592 10 месяцев назад +8

      @@galaxycamerata Actually, Galactus has been corrupted before. Once by a zombie plague and another version of him got corrupted by the All-Black Necrosword which turned him into an insane monster that destroyed planets out of malice. They also deeply downplayed Unicron by not showing the full extent of the Transformers cosmology. They said the Marvel multiverse is filled with an infinite number of infinite multiverses, but so does the Transformers multiverse.
      A single universe in the Transformers cosmology is the size of an infinite multiverse due to possessing infinite timelines, and timelines in Transformers have been confirmed to be full-fledged infinite universes and has countless dimensional layers. And again, that's the size of one universe, there's an infinite number of them. But that's not all, the Transformers cosmology also has "universal clusters that connect the Transformers franchise to other franchises like G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Doctor Who, Star Wars, My Little Pony, Back To The Future, Ben 10, Mythos, etc; all of whom have their own infinite multiverses. Unicron is capable of destroying them all and he even did so in the past until The One split Unicron in half to create Primus.
      They also said Unicron has no experience fighting opponents on his level, which is incorrect. He fought Primus, his polar opposite, repeatedly with their battle tearing apart all of reality, has defeated the Anti-Matrix, who is a being so powerful that he controls the Zero-Space, which the beginning and end of all things, and has also fought the Thirteen, who have weapons that can collapse all planes of existence, including higher-level dimensions and infinite quantum realms

    Galactus can both feed on planets and be a threat to the multiverse. Yes, it’s different power scales, but people also operate on different power scales simultaneously. For example, think of Light from Death Note simultaneously ending human lives while feeding on potato chips. If humans can both eat snacks and kill other humans, then Galactus can both eat planets and murder whole universes.

      Galactus *survived* the destruction of the universe he came from. Unicron *caused* the destruction of a multiverse before the main G1 Marvel Transformers comics. In his Astral form, before he ever had a physical form. And that is one of the three weakest versions of Unicron across all official canon fiction that the Transformers fandom has. I like both, but Death Battle really made a joke of a finale, especially as they ignored information on comic pages *that they put up on screen behind them* .

      @@variabilityman no, you and several others are misunderstanding the term Multiverse.
      In Marvel, the Multiverse is a singular Earth, plus any dimensions, realms, etc that are connected to it. Earth-616 is the main canon Marvel Multiverse, which has Earth, all the planets across it, Null Space, the Microverse, etc.
      That is *all* one *singular* multiverse.
      Earth-91274 (Marvel US) and Earth-120185 (Marvel UK) are both Marvel Transformers comics, *and separate Multiverses* , according to Marvel themselves.
      The Omniverse is all Multiverses, and anything else that can be imagined.
      The Transformers has an infinite universe in IDW, and Unicron Trilogy, but while both has fewer dimensions mentioned in their canon... Death Battle also referenced the canon that includes Earth-91274 (Marvel US) and Earth-120185 (Marvel UK), connecting them as one entity, because at one point, Unicron *was* one interconnected entity.
      Essentially, this fight was Galactus trying to destroy a piece of Unicron's hair, in comparison to that entity as a whole... and they put 'KO' before the rest all wiped Galactus out.
      *Picture that for context comparison* .

    Galactus can get by with snacking on an occasional planet (about 1 per month, by Earth calendar for measuring time) because he *conserves* it as much as possible by limiting his exertions. He rebuilt his "homeworld" as a solar system sized space station, where he can conserve & store some of the energies he consumes...In his first appearance in the FF comic books, he used a machine to make the absorption process more *efficient* even though he can consume the planet directly.
    It's also why he chooses heralds to search out worlds that have active biospheres, so that he doesn't personally expend energy to do it. If he has to exert himself to consume a planet, he has to balance the energy used against its defenses compared to how much energy he can get from consuming it...If the "meal" isn't worth the effort, he'll move on. You may notice that at the end, Galactus was hungry enough to consume an entire galaxy...
    The reason why Galactus backed down when Reed Richards had the Ultimate Nullifier is NOT because Galactus feared being wiped from existence...No, no. The weapon can't destroy Galactus because it's a part of Galactus.
    Galactus was afraid that Reed would destroy *everything else*
    The Ultimate Nullifier was not a threat to Galactus, it was a threat to his food source.
    Uatu, the Watcher, said something to the effect that, if the multiverse crumbles, can Galactus survive?
    I've got one question about Unicron...Once he's destroyed the whole of existence then what's left? Is his programming to destroy everything going to make him self-destruct?
    Something tells me that somebody didn't really think this through well enough...
    During the battle, can we take a moment to appreciate that what we see ion the video is NOT the battle itself? The fight was occurring across the whole of the multiverse, on all planes & in all dimensions at the same time, including (but not limited to) the Astral Plane & the Psychic Plane, as well as across Time itself. The battle was happening on so many different levels that the human imagination to conceive of the overall scope of it is less than a tiny scratch on the smallest part of the tip of the iceberg. Let's appreciate that the Death Battle Team had to account for all of that when it came to power-scaling the fight between the two combatants.

After spending time with people like Batman, green arrow, wonder woman, even lex luthor has shown him that relying on power is a recipe for ones undoing and on many occasions it was indeed their undoing. Galactus isn't a warrior or warlord by any means. He is a genius, a known survivor. He survived the destruction of his own universe and the creation of another. Unicron haven't fought anyone his own size ever aside from his brother, and who was it that tricked the other? Unicron would realistically have no way to know how to deal with something on his own level, and would most likely just fight and try the same thing for all of time. But Galactus having experienced multiple things on his own level means he knows that he needs tricks and cheats for those battles, and he is more than willing to do so, I mean that's the whole reason he made that ultimate nullifier weapon to begin with. It’s actually inaccurate to claim that Unicron has only fought Primus… it’s more that Unicron has fought Primus the most. Other gods of mythology exist and other entities besides Primus and Unicron are around - they generally though are more trying to hide away from Unicron as they fear him. Primus was created to be Unicron’s ultimate counter and even then Primus is technically weaker, having to go to long-term plans and schemes to weaken Unicron, while Unicron has brute forced through many of Primus’ schemes… just not all of them. Galactus does still have more experience than Unicron in those kind of battles but Death Battle did misconstrue that point somewhat.

    18:36 - In the original Marvel comics, killing Primus simultaneously with Unicron balances the scales (this is how they beat him back then). The entire Transformers Cybertron series is also about the aftermath of killing Unicron; if you destroy Unicron completely, without also destroying Primus, the universe balances itself by replacing him with something even worse. In this case, his death caused a supernatural black hole to spawn that would eventually have grown to consume the entire multiverse. It was only stopped after Unicron was resurrected (in the comics, the cartoon never shows it) and Primus shot it with a big gun. Even during all that, Unicron was just chilling in the void between realities, slowly pulling all life into nothingness because even permadeath wasn't enough to actually stop him. Nearly every story usually ends with him being knocked unconscious or imprisoned in some way, not outright destroyed.
    Also, EVIL isn't actually something that needs to exist in the TF multiverse, just Chaos & Destruction. There are mirror universes where Unicron is good, but he is still the embodiment of Chaos and Destruction. Rather than abuse his powers, however, he only destroys that which is old and worn so that new life may grow in its place, and Chaos is fed by the existence of free will and evolution rather than violence and madness. Normal Unicron could be good if he wanted to, but he chooses to be evil.

In the end, with nothing to sustain either of them, Galactus would finally overpower Unicron and “win,” but Unicron’s last words wouldn’t be screaming in pain or “No! I have lost!”, they would be “Look around you. Every planet, every star, and every universe is dead. My mission is accomplished. And you are now doomed to starve.”

      Eh, no. Death Battle just ignored information directly in pages they flashed behind them, as well as other stuff they chose to ignore. Unicron might not have been around for as long, but even in one of his three weakest depictions, he would beat Galactus. Galen *survived* the destruction of his universe and became cursed with Hunger, becoming Galactus. Unicron, on the other hand, *caused* the destruction of a multiverse-in his Astral form, before ever gaining a physical body. What fragments he left created the big bang while he was sleeping, because Unicron *didn't leave any life, not even prior deities behind* when he destroyed that multiverse. Sure, he ended up with opposition that eventually beat him... in that incarnation. At the cost of his equal's essence, which was created in the new multiverse. But that was one of the three weakest versions of him, and Death Battle cited some fiction that was even more powerful than that. It is a joke of a finale, plain and simple.

      A theory I saw is that because Unicron reset the Multiverse while having his spark merged with the Nullifier, the new Multiverse basically merged the two together. This ended up neing Unicrons downfall, as the Nullifier IS Galactus, as Galactus is energy and the Nullifier is made out of the same energy. Thus, Unicron=Nullifier, so Unicron=Galactus's energy, which was promptly reabsorbed.

    The Death: Unicron was DEVOURED by Galactus.
    Amd this actually can work in killing Unicron off physically and nulling his threat. If there is 1 Unicron 'spirit', yet an entire multiverse's worth of inactive bodies, binding Unicron's 'spirit' to an infinitely more powerful being, nulling his ability to act, even his consciousness being rendered moot, counts as stopping him for good.
    Also, the Ultimate Nullifer doesn't just erase you, it erases every iteration OF you in the infinite Marvel MULTIVERSE, including timelines and the like, while re-writing the INFINITE MARVEL MULTIVERSE into one where you don't exist in it at all. If you're an abstarct concept made manifest, then you're replaced by another who fulfills your role. At best, Unicron scales to Abraxas, and if he got erased by the Nullifier, then Unicron sure as hell isn't safe from the effects, as he's never gone up against anything LIKE the Nullifier in the Transforners multiverse and walked away unscathed. If Galactus, his superior in cosmic scale, has multiple gimmicks to prevent the Nullifier from being used on him, including a POCKET DIMENSION OUTSIDE OF THE INFINITE MARVEL MULTIVERSE, that all but implies he himself isn't safe from it, which damns Unicron outright just by being Galactus's lesser in cosmic scale.

    The biggest problem with this death battle is they end up contradicting themselves even though Galactus was far more powerful than Unicron they directly stated that even if unicorn is destroyed completely he will reappear in a new universe because he is an immutable infinite concept. The very Act of fighting him means he will come back because violence is Unicron. The act of destroying Unicron is destruction which is Unicron therefore Unicron continues to exist. Also they showed that the ultimate nullifier didn't work as unicorns simply manifested after it's used and he was the one using it. This fight should have theoretically lasted forever because Galactus had no physical way to get rid of unicron under any circumstance so the fight would have gone on until the entire Multiverse was destroyed and Galactus no longer had a food source. They even stated that this fight ultimately came down to power which power cannot destroy Unicron based upon the very description they used for the character. They had to pick a winner so that the fight would end when they should have just had it end in a tie and say the fight went on forever. As you said Knox these are complex characters and how they are written should take a bigger role in the fight than just power levels. Galactus with far more powerful but he did not have a way to win this fight. The only way Galactus stood a chance to actually end the fight would be to destroy the concept of evil and destruction itself which in itself is a paradox and cannot be done but even if he could that would require the total annihilation of all sentient life including himself that could ever commit evil which in itself is an evil act therefore Unicron still exists comparing Unicron to Abraxas doesn't work because of brexit was a finite being Unicron isn't. Abraxas was a being representing the concept of evil and destruction whereas Unicron is the concept of evil and destruction and as long as it exists he does

      I mean Galactus destroyed the concept of Destruction of Marvel as well.

      Not so. Both Abraxas and Unicron are multiversal abstract beings that represent the concept of the entire multiversal cosmos' inevitable destruction. They scale pretty well, excepting that Marvels' cosmos is larger. Second, Unicron did not survive being hit by the nullifier so the fight did not "show that the ultimate nullifier didn't work". The nullifier *only* removes the chosen object/being from reality. Unicron was in no danger because Unicron was not attacked. Galactus was in no danger because he left the multiverse being rewritten. As Unicron cannot do this, there is no real reason to think the nullifier wouldn't work.
      That said, the idea of Unicron coming back into being as long as there is destruction *is* a valid issue that I agree they didn't address properly. Perhaps Galactus, having no malice in his destruction, does not permit Unicron to return the same way hatred would? Then again, would destruction on surviving worlds bring Unicron back? Would Galactus have to extinguish sapient life? Or, perhaps, did Galactus just absorb Unicron? Unicron lives, but as a subset of Galactus?

    The battle went back and forth several times. Maybe you should watch it again. Cool avatar bro.

    36:00 You're forgetting something nux. The nullifier IS part of that greater power. Aside from Galactus being easily able to destroy the multiverse without even trying in a second the nullifier is part of that power so I don't know why you're complaining that they didn't use it, it's part of that greater power!😂 It was pretty much saying Unicron would never have won even if he was physically stronger because of the ultimate nullifier so it was just adding on to the fact that no matter what Unicron never would have won😂

    This is probably the highest quality Death Battle has ever given us. I am also indifferent to the random comedy Death Battle to open new seasons gimmick. Anyway, I can't wait until you finish Eminence in Shadow Season 2. I want to see if it will make you as excited as I was watching it.

    Yeah, it is 100% one sided, I don't know the depths of Unicron or Galactus lore, but once that nullifier was mentioned... game over, there is no beating that, it's completely one sided. If Unicron had any chance of winning, it'd have to be if we ignored the nullifier's existence.

    6:33- The fact that he's a multiversal force that only needs to consume planets, instead of universes, shows just how energy efficient he is. In fact, if I'm remembering correctly, that's part of the point to Galactus: he is meant to produce more than he ate when it's time for the multiverse to be reborn. Suck it perpetual motion, we're going further beyond with creation of matter and energy.

      Yes, at the end of the Universe Galactus will eat everything and cause another big bang that begins a new one.
