Yes, thanks to our no snow, no salt, and minimal rain, my 58 cadillac that my parents bought here in 1960, and my 68 Mustang I bought in 1977, that was purchased new at Palm Springs Ford, they are in great shape! And on the road.

I miss the Bob's Big Boy in Canoga Park! Went there with my dad on Friday nights. Had a 69 Mach 1 428 CJ. Still have his 67 Shelby GT 500 and my 65 Mustang Fastback pro touring car.

Their burgers used to be the best. Double wrapped with a crispy salad and fries on the Combo. I was in there not long ago. Burger is no longer wrapped, and the salad was soggy. The price ? DON'T ASK !
I was there after a 2500 mi drive from Ontario Canada...1972....saw a cool 57 Chevy rag top with straight front axle way high street freak.
Thankfully it's a landmark, so it'll be there forever now.

Datsun 240 Z is priceless the ranchero is rare with a 390 . C10 are fun trucks bulldozers. Beautiful trucks . No mavericks there great . Maverick grabbers are hard to find .

I didn’t not realize that the Avanti’s used the same side mirrors as AMC did a little later in the decade.
Seventies Jaguars used AMC side mirrors as well.
There's Olvera street same day lapd, just added lakewood..with Jay Leno in attendance

They were supposed to bring the bill back after it never got voted on. Haven't heard anything.
Any vehicle 1974 and older is exempt from smog check. Never had to do one with my 65 Mustang Fastback nor 67 Shelby GT 500 since owning them in the 1980's

They sold better than the 55-57 two seaters, but you see more of those at shows these days.

Mike I don't think any of your viewers would want you to turn your nose up at some indorsement revenue. If we weren't interested in any particular pitch we would just buzz through it. You are very articulate and I always thought you had a great broadcast voice. Any venders could do alot worse than you for a shout-out.
I've only had one offers that I would have even considered, which was a family run car car product company out of Orange County. I did some research on them and they had some satisfied customers including someone I've known over twenty years. I just didn't take the offer at the time. I would never promote anything I didn't feel comfortable with and I would only want to deal with companies with products that relate to what I cover.

Too bad that place has become such a clown show. I stopped going because I got sick of seeing the same cars for 20 years. All the parking spots get taken up by the same dudes every Friday. Gotta love the old farts that show up with lawn chairs every week at 1:30 pm in 90 degree heat
