I'm on Ashleys side all the way, people who are not happy SHOULD just break up and move on, there's no need to cheat and hurt everyone involved.
But there are instances where a person who is not happy in the relationship and can't leave the "relationship". Such as an abusive relationship, or marriage, etc.

I'm sure most of them are able to leave, but it can be risky.

In psychology, the idea of love is spread into sections: lust love, which is that “honeymoon phase” and then Companionship love, which is when you’re comfortable in your relationship and you just staying there because you’ve become comfortable since you have someone next to you and that lust has disappeared.

I feel like the only exception for cheating on someone else is if your significant other is abusive physically or emotionally, because in a lot of abusive relationships it’s hard to break up with that person because your scared of them, so if your in an abusive relationship and find another person who treats you so good and tries to help you out of that relationship then it’s understandable.

A A it’s not as easy as it sounds.. lots of victims are afraid of calling the police in fear what that person might do to them after, especially since sometimes the police don’t even do anything if there isn’t hard hitting evidence and even if there is they’ll probably give the abuser a punishment like a restraining order which in the end does little to protect the victims against really crazy incidents.
