What your AFS? I was a cop stationed in Misawa 86-89, but later cross trained into Aviation Resource Management and then became a Shirt. Retired in 2007 with 21 years and am currently working in Passports for the US State Department.
I was TDY for 179 days in 70 with the 400th MMS(T) SAC Support loading bombs for the B-52s. Returned 84-88 Flight Chief 6402nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal Flight. Really enjoyed my time on Okinawa.
I was stationed at Kaden's in71 to 72 , 824th base supply for 1 month, than assigned to the 18th TFW AMS and later on was based at Naha AFB, 824th Special Services Housing Supply, went TDY to Vietnam, Da Nang AFB, 366th Gunfighter Squadron, Gunfighter Village, was there for 2 months and then they moved us to Takli, Thailand, same Squadron.
I was stationed at Kakena from 72-74. I loved Okinawa. I liked watching the SR-71 taking off and landing while they were there. I was hoping to see Okinawa city. Spend many hours at the local bars
Hey, thanks for NOT editing out the parts where the plane was behind the trees. I'm sure that most people who clicked on this video would rather look at trees than airplanes. Next time I suppose you could just go set up in the middle of the forest and save time.
Great Video! I just recently started uploading aviation content on youtube and would really appreciate if you could check out my latest video and give me feedback. I am new to filming and editing, so it would really help. Thank you very much.
I was stationed at Kadena from 90 -92. One of the best duty stations in the Air Force.
