How do we know that God exist? Answer: Because he is the purification of our consciousness. As Krishna says in the Bhagavid-gita: " this divine energy of mine ( material nature ) consisting of the three modes of material nature is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto me easily cross beyond it" Being the means to achieve an end God is certainly something real, just as the medicine you take to cure yourself of an ailment is real bhakti yoga is the spiritual medicine we take to purify our consciousness from ignorance and passion.

The earliest printing of the Bhagwat Gita occurred in the 15th century, after many generations over a few centuries without any manuscript containing the verbal discourse between Arjun and Krishna. The printed copies available from Gita press, Gorakhpur, U.P. India are legends and hearsay fabricated by the Brahmin Pujaries to exploit the poorly informed and educated Hindus. I was raised near Vrindavan, India.

So Bhagavad gita is part of Mahabharata which happened more than 5000 years ago.

The difference between a materialist and a spiritualist is that a spiritualist uses his consciousness as a barometer to understand truth while a materialist uses material instruments and just accepts what his senses perceive to tell him what reality is.
@Subhodeep Thakur Is the happiness you feel when you are kind to someone an empirical observation. But nevertheless it is true. Is it not? The same could be said about the feeling of love, compassion and inclusiveness that we fight for, every day. So we do actually conduct our daily lives on the assumption that most of the things that we feel are true. This applies to a materialist as well. Not all feelings are hallucinations. Some may be and some may be not. Please understand that knowledge about something is also a feeling in the sense how the word 'feeling' is used in the modern world. So to understand God is the quest of a jnani(seeker) after he negates all of the illusion that can exist. After this long sense of negation, he arrives to the point of what actually exists. This is called Brahma- jnana. This is the beginning of God realization. So it is not a sentiment by any means.
@Subho Deep Thakur A spiritualist understands that purification of his or her consciousness is not something that comes from chemicals but is dependent on something that is also consciousness but is a consciousness that is not conditioned as we are by nature's modes of ignorance and passion.
@Subho Deep Thakur it is not possible for human beings to prove the existence of God only God himself can do that and he has done that in the form of transcendental knowledge. In truth, transcendental knowledge is God telling us that there is a God and then explaining to us that reality is a monism, but a monism center around a person to whom everything is related in a relationship of oneness but difference. And it is the Bhagavid- gita that is this transcendental knowledge.
I have faith on god but when someone ask me what is the proof that god exists then i have no words. So that's why I came here to get the answer. So next time when someone ask me this again then i don't have to be silent.
What is the proof that God exist? Transcendental knowledge is the proof. Transcendental knowledge is the knowledge that reveals to us the transcendental nature of God of being the absolute truth by the process of devotional service to God and since that realization is only possible if God presents himself as an object of devotion the knowledge itself is solely an attribute of that supreme being. As Krishna says to Arjuna in the Bhagavid-gita, " That very ancient science of how everything is related to the supreme is today told by me to you because you are my devotee as well as my friend and can therefore understand the transcendental mystery of this science." and he also says: " In this world there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental knowledge, such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time." So, it is devotional service to krishna that purifies us from from material contamination, as Krishna says: " This devine energy of mine, consisting of the three modes of nature is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto me easily cross beyond it." transcendental knowledge therefore is the knowledge that gives us the means to become pure and since the means is performing devotional service to Krishna transcendental knowledge and devotional service to Krishna are transcendental pure reality that liberates the soul from the ignorance that this world represents. Since it is only through Krishna that we can know Krishna transcendental knowledge is Krishnas mercy to us and therefore represents apaurusheya ( which means knowledge not knowledge not known by mundane person ) Since something that exist must have attributes transcendental knowledge is an attribute directly related to God and is therefore proof that God exist.
There is neither proof that Krishna exists nor does not exist, because Vedas state that Krishna is realized when He reveals to His devotees by His own will. The only proof is Krishna's revelation, not our speculation. We may develop a faith that Krishna is real by association with the Spiritual Master who has realized Krishna. This is another proof that Krishna is real, but the ultimate realization is when Guru is pleased with our devotional service, then Krishna will reveal to us by His mercy. Others may speculate forever wheather God exists or not, but unless they are fortunate to receive mercy of the Spiritual Master, they will never be able to realize God.
That's why we have practical s in our education. So we can prove to ourselves that what we study is true. I can take a story book, and find parts which agree with reality such as the earth being round, and thus assume tha t everything the book says is true.
@Byrdmaniac I am sorry, but even I can claim that my fairy tales consist of sentences that were authorless, and thus flawless. any bumpkin with common sense would know that words can't just spontaneously appear. At least with inductive interferences we thing logically, instead of believing everything a book says and not even thinking about it. Your argument can be used on virtually any book (whose author is unknown) and it would be just as valid.
@Byrdmaniac the big bang is the farthest back in time that science has traced the universe, and nowhere does the theory state that the universe came from nothing. We simply don't know. The definition of life is sketchy at best. The earliest known life forms were nothing more than self replication polymers. our understanding of biochemistry shows that it's possible for the components of these replicating polymers to form naturally, and thus it's only a matter of time till it is proved. Induction and theorizing work perfectly fine if all of the variables are known. About the parameters being fools, remember that Christianity is based on a book that was proven to be naught but fiction, yet for centuries ,even up to the current era, people believe it to be the word of god, truth itself. Considering that the vedas are at the very least around 5 millennia old, (written) ,while it was said that it was passed down verbally for much longer, it is easy to see how people can believe in stupid things. It's also quite easy to conclude that the author of such old teachings could have been forgotten, and and due to its value at that time(information wise) ,people would have trusted every aspect of it. Krishna is said to be omnipotent, and he is the creator of everything, He is everything, according to scripture. Thus, he has to have written/dictated/ "formed" the vedas, and this leads to a circle of claims. Is Krishna real? Yes,because the vedas say so. Are the vedas true? Yes because Krishna "formed" them. Is Krishna real? And so on. Basically every religious book ever.
Investing myself a bit with this philosophy, I was raised a believer. Coming to Krishna consciousness raises my doubt yet edifies my faith, however fleeting.
What is the nature of truth? Truth can be defined as " that which is realized to be true " Krishna says in the Bhagavid-gita, " one can understand me as i am, as the supreme personality of Godhead only by devotional service " so Krishna is saying that he is a realizable truth. But as a truth, how is he realized? Krishna says " the self controlled yogi, constantly engaged in yoga practice become free from all material contamination and achieves the highest stage of perfect happiness in transcendental loving service to the Lord." But what is material contamination? Krishna says in the gita: " I am the consciousness of all living entities " and since existentially consciousness is a love energy the statement translates too, " it is the natural proclivity of the self to have love of the Godhead " thus any state of consciousness that is not of this state represents material contamination. But by God being the consciousness of our consciousness we are never divorced from God therefore our natural proclivity to love the Godhead is always there it just has to be revived by the process of yoga. Being that we can revive our God consciousness we are just finite expressions of the essence of God. Being just finite expressions of God though we are never equal to him in magnitude, as Krishna says, " the living entities in this material world are my eternal fragmental parts. " So as consciousness our relation is to God not material nature and since the realization of this truth is only realized through devotional service to God, if it were not for Krishna's appearance this knowledge would not be known and the path ( devotional service ) to become pure would not be available for the conditioned souls in the material world resulting in them being in perpetual ignorance of their identity as spiritual beings that have an eternal relationship with God. Since the purpose of transcendental knowledge is to give us a means to realize God as our deliverer from ignorance through the medium of devotional service ( transcendental meditation, chanting the names, glories and pastimes of the Lord, reading scripture, worshiping the deity form of the Lord in the temple, etc. ) through such practices the devotee experiences a prophelactic effect that purify's his or her consciousness of the illusory perceptions that ignorance produces and the impulsive behaviors associated with passion. Since effects require causes God exist as the realized cause of our purification thus he is a " truth " realized to be true as being the cause of an effect that we could not achieve if left to our own vices. So as transcendental knowledge and the process ( devotional service ) that gives us liberation we can realize God as being an absolute conditional truth because it is only through God that we can know God and not by the material scientific method.
Devotional service begins with sadhu sanga, then it develops into sradha. From good association comes faith. That is the beginning process of realization of God. Association with pure devotees of God is essential. To make proper use of one's intelligence and not deviate from the path of God realization it is highly recommended to study Bhagavad-gita As It Is translated and commented by HDG A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder-acarya of ISKCON.
Now I can say.. there is a supirior inteligence, who can help at the time of great depression on the basis of karma, innocence(not carelessness or ignorance) and listen to the prayer of an honest shattered soul.
My question is that shri krishna was seen the people of the mathura vrindavan dwarka and thus they were able to tell what he did what were his pastimes & what he said. If they had not seen him how come they would have believed it ? And that's also what atheists say . If you show me god I'll believe in it . What's wrong in it .
Just because they were thousands of years ago so just by that we should accept that there is god ? Maybe it was all done by that time scientist and it was not known to the world for many years .
5 and a half minutes in, and I am severely disappointed. Fine. Our senses are imperfect. Through science we study the universe to the best of our abilities. What we can't see , we can theorize and prove. This does not justify blind faith in something that defies reality itself, and has no proof. Also, to anyone who has passed 12th grade in biology, it's quite simple to understand that evolution is a fact. In simple terms, creatures vary , they have genetic differences that get passed down to their progeny, and so on. Over time, these changes don't allow the organism to breed with its ancestors. It's this a new species. Do this over and over again, and we have different phyla, and so on up the taxonomic tree. It's just plAin ignorance that allows people to think that evolution is false. Micro evolution is easily observable. Now imagine it happening again and again.
@Byrdmaniac if you would even think logically, you would see that multiple micro evolutions would simply be a macro evolution. As we look at fossils from recent times to ancient eras, we see clear decreases in complexity, and lots of intermediate forms . We know more than enough about fossils and organisms in general to draw solid, conclusive facts about said fossils and subsequently the organism. Macro evolution and micro evolution was a term coined by theists , the theory of evolution never mentions them. It simply states that organisms change over time ,and these changes are inherited. Evolution itself has become a fact ,since we have seen evolution at work ,causing speciation. If we can't predict the future changes, then does it make those changes non existent? And, what standard are you in school,or how far did you study biology(genetics etc) People like you are the kind who believe in meters (microevolution) but not A.U's or light years.(macro ev.) And yet,the fossil record has supported evolution ,and recent discoveries only strengthen it.
@Byrdmaniac I am sorry, but did you forget the basics of taxonomy? If it can evolve into a different species, then over longer periods of time, can't it evolve further? And, in case you forgot this as well, a mammal will always evolve into another mammal. A eukaryote into a eukaryote. And what's the relation between the wave-particle duality of electromagnetic radiation and genetic variation? The only reason it appears to defy logic is because we don't know enough about its fundamentals to explorate the duality. So, since we lack a complete fossil record, we should ignore all of the facts and evidence that fit in perfectly with evolution, and believe that a horny magic boi magiked the world into existence, especially when there is zero proof to support it. And again, you display your ignorance. Wether or not abiogenesis is the cause of life, evolution beyond species is a fact. After determining the approximate age of fossils, etc, this happens. We see an organism. We don't know why it is the way it is. Where did it come from? Now, unless you are an idiot, you would rule out magical creation. We know that life comes from life. We see other similar fossils, but they are different to varying extents. We also see a decrease in overall complexity as we go back in time(not literally) So, ruling out magic and baseless speculation, and taking into consideration our knowledge of genetics, (genome comparisions, genetic engineering etc) and lots of examples of micro evolution, and several examples of speciation, and knowledge of the earliest life forms, We know that all of the organisms evolved. I will make this simple for you. We have a colony of a certain organism. I take a few of these individuals and raise them away from the original colony ,with different environmental factors. They will undergo micro evolution over a few generations, right? Now wait for a long time. Say a thousand years of more. Won't the organisms of the second colony have great differences is comparison to those of the first colony? As time passes, these differences only increase. Some homology will be visible, but it should be easy for you to imagine how this leads to new species. You understand how micro evolution works, but somehow you can't understand that lots of accumulated micro evolutions can make the evolved organism incapable of reproducing with its ancestor, and thus is a different species.
Wish you had a better grasp on reason and science vs faith. Evolution is not scripture; it is testable demonstrable and provable now and ever. That is the miraculous, the ways of the Earth spirit. Faith makes you random, independent of evidence and reason.
Micro-evolution is true but not marco-evolution. Darwinism is a reductionist theory and Abiogenesis is wishful thinking. So called strongest proof for whale evolution has been debunked long since. Get the scientists off the altar. And start thinking for yourself.

So as consciousness our relation is to God not material nature and since the realization of this truth is only realized through devotional service to God, if it were not for Krishna's appearance this knowledge would not be known and the path ( devotional service ) to become pure would not be available for the conditioned souls in the material world resulting in them being in perpetual ignorance of their identity as spiritual beings that have an eternal relationship with God.

What is god or Bhagwan
Can anyone educate me
God is english translation of bhagwan
There is a dragon in my room
Allah comprehends all vision,
But vision compreheds Him not.
Holy Quran
And, what standard are you in school,or how far did you study biology(genetics etc)
People like you are the kind who believe in meters (microevolution) but not A.U's or light years.(macro ev.)
And yet,the fossil record has supported evolution ,and recent discoveries only strengthen it.
We also see a decrease in overall complexity as we go back in time(not literally)
So, ruling out magic and baseless speculation, and taking into consideration our knowledge of genetics, (genome comparisions, genetic engineering etc) and lots of examples of micro evolution, and several examples of speciation, and knowledge of the earliest life forms,
We know that all of the organisms evolved.
The proof is god created you and the whole universe
And God says we are never created.
Answer:there is not a scrap.
Existing energies are created by uncreated Allah, first and the last. Ever living.
Evidence! Give me evidence! Science is based on evidence and repeatable observation and experiment, not faith.
Give me evidence that u have mind
Give me evidence that there is a structure of love, hate, ego, greed, lust
Wish you had a better grasp on reason and science vs faith. Evolution is not scripture; it is testable demonstrable and provable now and ever. That is the miraculous, the ways of the Earth spirit. Faith makes you random, independent of evidence and reason.
Micro-evolution is true but not marco-evolution.
Darwinism is a reductionist theory and Abiogenesis is wishful thinking.
So called strongest proof for whale evolution has been debunked long since.
Get the scientists off the altar. And start thinking for yourself.
