Hi nice vid! I'm thinking of doing something similar. I would like to ask you a few questions if I may, do they lay eggs all year round when kept warm? Also how many times/frequently do females lay eggs? And do they die off after? Thanks!
Yeah they lay about 1000 eggs over there lifetime about 4 weeks. Best temp is 21degrees for breeding. And the only thing is watching out for mites and remove dead bodies if possible.
Crickets lay 5-10 eggs ever day and if your doing stuff right they hv been known to live up to 8 month's make sure you give them oranges potatos and a sepert container so they lay eggs in there in afater 7 day you wanna putt the sepert container with your breeding soil in it in a new container as they will begin to hatch make sure to take out the food every 3 days or whenever you see mold and this dude is doing this all wrong. Dont use water crystals as humans are suppose to consume it will make you sick so itll make your crickets sick and die when you do move your breeder soil make sure your baby crickets are in a humid place. If you hv ANY questions plz ask me i know what im doing when it comes to crickets. :)
@Mykola Petrovych hey bro itll take about 10 day or even a bit longer for your crickets to start hatching and Yes it is possible to breed and raise black field crickets as i have done and my baby crickets are alomost at adult size .With black field crickets its different than the house crickets you would buy. I think it takes longer to and grow black field crickets than house crickets. I'd advise to go ahead a buy you 50 or more house crickets from a local bait shop or pet store . I think they would lay more eggs grow faster and live longer. If you hv anympre qustains just ask. :)
@Mykola Petrovych and if you do want to just try back field crickets then try finding them at night with a flash light and they love the shade go easy on light.
I need to get my brother’s heat lamp for my crickets 🤔 Interesting cricket setup 👍
