It's free around the Marina Bay. Except that you need to pay between S$100 to S$300 if you watch the fireworks from the Star Island Show at the Float@marinabay. My position was near the right side of the cordoned-off Float@marinabay area.
I am panning to go to Singapore to watch the 2024 firework, can you show the best position to watch? and is there any area that is cordoned-off? and what time should I go there to have the best view? Thank you so much
Here's the long answer. The best view depends on how they placed the firework barges. In all previous years, the fireworks favour The Float. However for the next 3 years, The Float is being torn down and being redeveloped as NS Square. So for this year, I guess they will favour the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands boardwalk. I suggest that you watch from Marina Bay Sands boardwalk. I can be sure only after I see the barges positions nearer New Year's Eve. If you want to watch, you can go there by 7pm. There will be hundreds of people infront of you. If you want to take good pictures, you need to go around 2-3pm to claim your spot for the midnight fireworks. The place would be cordoned by about 8pm. If you go to the toilet, you cannot get back in. Hehe. The Merlion Park would be a bad place to watch as the smoke will blow towards there.
Could plz guide anyone?? Which place i fix for seeing 2024 fireworks and other dron works. For the very 1st time me with my family will be going to celebrate new year eve in Singapore??
