Chuckwagon races like this make for a perfect venue to have local horse ranchers and breeders compete against one another in this particular kind of competition for the fastest and longest-enduring horse breed in a county, and for sport to win a county championship.
Why is this not a more popular sport in the United States?
Because we are purposely not teaching our kids appreciation to agriculture and our western history of building a nation with wagons and horses
