I'm so glad for your review. Karen Harris shared the promo shots and swatches from them and they look awful. The saturation is way off, much too dark and vibrant, and the swatches looked like they were caked onto a wet base and are muddy and washed out on the darker model. It's actually a really cool color story. Thank you for sharing. 🖤🖤🖤
I agree they tried too hard to make the swatches look good. The mattes just dont swatch the best, but they perform well still
Both your looks are absolutely stunning and when you do the Halo eyeshadow it looks a million times better than some other reviewers that I watch. You really make eyeshadow look fun and beautiful. You are extremely talented.

As a random long time watcher of your channel, I will say that I'd rather see multi-look videos on 3-5 palettes than 10 first impression videos.
... but I will watch and enjoy regardless :D
Yeah I totally get that, but I really want to feature as many things as possible too. I would feel bad if I never got around to using a bunch of stuff Ive been sent and bought, and I think a first impression is at least better than nothing if someone is looking for a review on a new palette. Its a hard balance to find.

It's going to be my first purchase too! Im still watching the video at end of first look lol, but had to come to the comments to see if anyone is as floored as me with that centre lid shade in the first look. It's like a pressed flakie but smooth texture, whilst giving a mirrored effect almost?! AND shifty. Just insane.❤️

I always leave the entire middle open like no crease shade then I bring the shimmer all the way up to the crease. I feel it works best on my very hooded eyes

If you have to arrange them from your least favourite to your most favourite, how would be your selection? I want to make an order but If I buy all palettes it’s going to be sooo expensive. Halo eyes is one of the hardest looks. It's taken me months and practicing to be able to do it. I still practice and hopeful that 1 day it will be a "no big deal" look :)
You're too hard on yourself, the halo looked perfect. I know the hooded eye struggle tho & all I can say is pastel mattes are my best friend for blending dark mattes close to the inner portion. I tend to always bring my mattes way further in, closer to the bridge of my nose & it's hard to stop doing that when I'm trying to do a precise shape like a halo 😆
