After he switched up king took his spot for me for second. And both these guys are master levels with my favorites. I main Rang he is number one. His kicks are just god like. Then he punch kick combos and cancels etc he is just too much I basically never lose with him normally have to not get him so that ppl can compete. And then king is just the king. With his chain grabs and all. And his just all skeins fighting. He's top tier. Rang can control range with the reach of his kicking. When played right he is just unbeatable. This was epic tho

The idea is that Hwoarang can chain different attacks and different combos with an easy starter, while King has a "harder" time initiating them, but he can deal more damage if he ends it with a Grab/Throw.
Alfons Martín Reales slow is not a problem in tekken universe, but the range of attack, attack form, superior launcher, frame advanced, character like nina or feng is the example of the cheapest of all, while whoarang despite what u describe, is inferior in term of attack, 90% his attack is got gap that you can broke. and almost all his attack is a high, just duck it and you can punish him.

i agree having rage arts and rage attacks in T7 is kind of wierd in a way. i think Harada wanted to change and improve some aspects of the game to attract new blood to T7 especially with new characters (Akuma being the big surprise) and a few gameplay mechanics. lots of people complained about the bound/bind system, because it caused lots of damage when done properly and with walls and wall breaks. now its replaced with a tailspin if i remember it correctly, works to extend combos but not very useful after being wall splatted. i've only played a few months T7 is still growing on me but my fave would still be T5DR
