To be fair, it doesn't always work like that. Rashford wasn't as good as those players for the academy. Neither was Josh King, or Anthony Elanga, or even Jesse Lingard. And yet they all had better careers. Some of them had WAY better careers. He could end up somewhere in the premier league and that wouldn't be a shock

He's had a couple of loan spells that didn't work out. There's a player there if he can find the right coach
there is quaity in flashes in McNeill, but he needs to work on himself to improve physically and get more consistent with his technical skill set
