I've found myself not finishing the whole run in one sitting but just turning it on when I can and finishing them slowly when I can, but is view retention still doing well? No matter what, I still love your content, your calm attitude will always be why I come back, so thanks for the endless content!
Duels viewership is still up compared to Wild videos, which is why Wild videos are less frequent. I imagine many people interact with videos the same way you are but overall retention is still higher with Duels content so they get recommended to a wider audience and/or result in returning viewers (both of which increase total views).

This applies to any category of videos I watch, not just gaming But this might also be another reason for why they are doing so well.

I think the Warlock [36:04] mixed the effects from Tram Mechanic and Disposal Assistant then: 1) Milled the toxic sludge for no reason [36:36] 2) Wasted the Steamcleaner with no effect [36:58] (thinking he had 2 sludges from the Mechanic and it would kill your Direhorn)
Not playing Hearthstone for multiple years, and yet in that warrior game you had me screaming "order" so often.. shows a great creator, when someone captivates you, despite me not carrying for the game anymore. Keep up the great work.

Those early misplays were pretty heartbreaking. The earnestness of your response to a chatter talking about some of the harder ones was worse though, not the emotion I was expecting to feel when I woke up today. I wish you the best.

The one thing Roffle tends to do in terms of misplay is the order of things to do. Which is both very upsetting and very relatable. As a viewer, it's not the misplay itself that is upsetting but the fact you can see it coming and are like "Noooo, please don't do that" which of course has NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER.
Something people don't seem to grasp till they try it themselves: Playing a strategy game *while* entertaining an audience of thousands of people is HARD AS HELL. RUclips comments suck in general, but that's one area in particular where they're best ignored completely.
Chat really heard you praise one chat member for bringing up one really good, game saving play, and decided their word was law and they needed to pick apart everything you did from then on with even more scrutiny than normal.

You see, there was not enough board space for the copy you would have gotten, hence you missed out on an 8/4 Windfury, Rush. I took a bit personal offense there, since usually I prefer to spend my time watching more advanced players. Anyway, l'm enjoying your content and especially the Duels runs very much! ... except for that play at 14:21 there of couse.
The first game was the first and only instance in recorded history where chat actually help win the game...., maybe. What? It's not like I'm an internet historian or anything.
No there was another instance with Elemental Finlay a while ago. Someone in chat pointed out that Skarr gets 1 additional damage when you play an elemental on the same turn before Skarr. That saved a match against a dragon druid and Roffle won that game because of it.
How fucked up was that deck at 26:32? It's game 4 that guy has 2 copies of the lower costs spells and two copies of the torch (and then proceeds to draw the generated ones)?
Roffle is so used to chat gaslighting and trolling him that their strategy for this run seems to be giving flawless advice just to screw with him. trolling by not trolling. Minus the mean comments anyway.
Tbh since you saw the misplays after you did them, not much to say. It hurt to watch but as you said, just human mistakes. Best you can do is try to learn from it and move on, or as chat said have some "great content"
Small nitpick, during the edited gameplay you often skip over the display of ur record and u cover ur record in game with ur camera. It makes following the video harder to track, and since alot of viewers watch the whole video over multiple shorter sessions it makes it difficult to keep track of wins and losses. This got long, sorry.
