You can tell Hopper is frustrated with the interpreter. When Dennis got started talking about these things, he got fired up and just wanted to go and go.

How so? He did a good job of trying to break him up. An actor isnt going to want to have to wait when they are paid to talk, they like the sound of their own voice.
Interesting thoughts. I don't know enough of the people he mentions to care about much of his talk, but I dig hearing him talk about acting and such. I remember hearing that Brando's costar in Waterfront did that famous scene with a stand in. That's rather lame. Whereas when close ups of Micheal Clarke Duncan were being filmed for Green Mile, Tom Hanks sat across from him and delivered his end of the scene. Duncan really appreciated it, and knew he was getting to see a fine actor put in a performance that would certainly not be the one shown in the ultimate closeup shots used.
The trifecta of acting Montgomery Clift, Marlon Brando & James Dean. These 3 actors changed acting forever. RIP Monty, Brando & Dean🙏💔🙏💔🙏💔
He should have lived 20 years more. May he be at peace.
What an American treasure Dennis Hopper was.
people should watch, because. its some of his last interviews...if your a Denis hopper fan😊
It is quite irritating to have to wait. I admire Hopper's patience. Can't watch the whole thing.
Well you werent there. It was obviously in France, and Hopper was paid for his time.
Rod Steiger HAHAha
i love you, channel, dude!

Great !
Oh, boy, this could've done without the French interruption...

Come on Dennis, Brando would sit looking at the interviewer and then interview HIM.
I loved Dennis Hopper, why did Brando hate him so much?
Poor translator :) Dennis Hopper's sentences get longer and longer.

@@mfbias4048 You misunderstand. I'm sympathising with the translator. _"Poor"_ as in _unfortunate._
Monty & James wiped the floor with Brando.
weird insight but okay
why so agitated
So what one should say about De Sica's work with child actors? That was extraordinary.
Wow.
Rumble fish and blue velvet
Early B Films!
And Hoosiers.
Apocalypse Now
It's annoying waiting 4 the interpretation of what Dennis is saying. I'm outa here.
hopper looks a bit annoyed too.
You certainly are.

Why don't they use subtitles. Instead of interrupting with this German language OMG 😠
Parle francais?

Muchisimas gracias. I enjoy listening to people speak of Monty and Marlon. Especially those who worked with them. Thank you for this gem :)
To the actors that love acting. Respect.
That's not Brando.
Geez, the translations need to be edited out.
Its funny watchin hopoer wave his hands around man when hes talking man just like he did in apocalypse now man. Crazy man. Same Mannerisms.
How was Rod Steiger imitating Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront?
"Stella!" "Stella!" "Stel--la!"
What he says about Marlon is so interesting and true...❤
Here's to Ben! Be polite!
