No, dustetān dāram is a second plural conjugation, while dustat dāram is the second singular. Both of them are formal. The informal version of dustetān dāram is dusetun dāram And the informal version of dustat dāram is duset dāram
@persianwithazin1290 thank you for clarifying. Persian is my 6th language (it should have been one of my first, but that's a long story. I'm really having fun learning it. As a left-hander I find reading and writing it very natural too.
No I don’t speak Arabic and I even can’t make a simple sentence in Arabic unfortunately although we study Arabic language in school for 7 years. Persian and Arabic are not similar at all, they don’t even share a common root, Arabic is a Semitic language while Persian is an Ino-European language. The grammars are completely different. They only share a common script and they’ve borrowed some words from each other because of interaction between Persia and Arabic countries during the history.
خیلی جالب بود، کلی حفظ کردم ولی فعلا کسی ندارم که اینا رو بگم😅 یه پسر آمریکایی که با دختر ایرانی ازدواج کرد، میگفت که به جای «دوستت دارم»، زنش بهش میگه «خاک بر سرت»😂

One I picked up on my learning journey was: doostetaan daaram. That's just the formal version of dustat daram isn’t it?
