This is the way we use to teach reading english in our govt scl in puducherry from Ukg since 2016.. children feel it easy to say the sounds and pronounce rather than saying the letter names and spelling the words.. children are taught the sounds orally. but other schl teachers find it difficult to teach in phonics and they hesitate to follow.. they all say that learning phonics is difficult. But actually learning is easy.. they are not ready to teach phonics. Since it takes self learning and clearance about the sounds. Your patience in teaching phonics is great. We framed our own syllabus for phonics, nd included phonics class in our schl timetable. Your class now added extra cross check for us and showed we are going in the right path.. thankyou so much madam.. all the best..👍👍

How to teach this for 1std kids to understand easily (orally) without phonic symbols. If phonic symbols are introduced they get confused with the symbols and the letters. Can you suggest.
