I am IN LOVE with her videos. I usually don't comment on RUclips videos, but her videos are exceptional! Everything I've watched concerning phonology and phonetics is part of my English Course at University, and her videos have been more than helpful! Thank you! You're an amazing teacher!
My academic life has been saved, now I’m ready for the upcoming written test 🎉. Thanks for your time given to elucidate each and every detail of manners of articulations, cheers!
1. What is the difference between plosives and stops? 2. Trills and retroflex are mentioned. 3. Why do we call the approximates semi- vowels?what about stress pattern in the American taps or flaps?
Excellent explanations Sister I’m an Arabic language student Can you please give some explanation about Arabic alphabets as well? It would be really helpful
You haven't discussed the difference between stops and continuants. Question: Should the word March be articulated as a stop or as continuant. Americans as few decades ago used to articulate the word word "March" as stop. Teachers of English for ESL students back then would counsel that the difference between the way the words 'Wash' and the word 'watch" were articulated was that 'Watch" was a stop and you could not prolong this sound and "Wash" was a continuant and you could prolong this sound as long as your breath lasted. Today, however I hear many Americans pronounce the word 'March" as if it were spelled "Martsh" that is as a continuant. Is this the case with speakers of British English as well?.
Thank you 😊 I love your precious videos please keep up the great work Can you please make a video about how in some words can I kk know if the sounds sh sound or j sound in the middle or at the end of the word like sure pleasure Usual judge musician
Great suggestion! Actually, I have individual videos for each sound (or sometimes a group of sounds) and in those I also show the typical spelling pattern for each sound. You can find these on my channel page :-)

You forgot to tell that /j/ is essentially a non-syllabic /i/ and /w/ is essentially a non-syllabic /u/.
