I love the history of Liberia. The old Liberia.

Clearly, you are not an indigenous Liberian. Do read real history books, you'll find that Liberia was founded by rich white men (the American Colonization society) to deport freed slaves & keep the races separated. Said slaves then decided to treat the people whose land they were on the way their masters treated them. Stop romanticizing colonization and the subjugation of native people. Comments like that is why Liberia well never move forward. "The old Liberia" yeah, where the slave thought he was the master & things fell apart. Do educate yourself, Ohio State University has the largest collection of historical documents on Liberia, and the Americam Colonization Society. Read and Learn!

It was a segregated society with discrimination against the natives.

Right. This is President Tubman visiting Conakry, Guinea. Liberian Independence was in 1847. (Not 1960)!!!

That was back then when our world was so innocent and peaceful. No tinted windshield on the President’s motorcade.

A lot had changed so much. Imagine the President driving in a open top. The war destroyed more than 200,000 people in order to bring about a better Liberia; but we can’t even see our officials of government when the drive by; before you talk about the President driving in an open top. Yet we claim that we’re better now than then. What can you exchange for peace and stability?

Why do you believe that it's liberia 🇱🇷 🤔
Believe me it's Guinée I know my country
      1. This house is Sekou toure ex président palais
Tubman was living in the ( old executive Manson ) on this days
      2. Tubman ist the one who is checking people hands ,so he is the visitor.
      3. Does Monrovia look so empty in the 60 ? No
Monrovia was more modern than Conakry.
      4. Look at tubman dress code 🤔

You’re correct, this isn’t a footage of Liberia. The Liberian motorcycle police did not wear white, The late President Tubman was being introduced to the Guinean Officials and other dignitaries by late President Toure of Guinea.

The weather on a July 26 day appears to look like dry season weather. Sign of a leadership and a country held in honor by God. I don’t see anyone with an umbrella or rain jacket.
