Bruce Lehrmann’s trial aborted after juror misconduct, police investigating Brittany Higgins

It has been a day of real drama in a Canberra courtroom. Not only has a rogue juror forced the rape trial of Bruce Lehrmann to be aborted, but comments made by Brittany Higgins immediately after have been refered to the Australian Federal Police.
The chance discovery of a banned document in the jury room forced the judge to abruptly end the trial before they could reach a verdict on whether Ms Higgins was raped inside Parliament House.
She was left shaking and in tears. And some of what she had to say may have serious legal consequences.
