He's currently a part of the Clippers summer league team. Hopefully he finds a better fit in his next stop. I think he does have NBA talent for sure, just has to be a team that'll allow him to be him
Great video when you have a chance check out Wayne Blackshear from Chicago also went to Louisville I personally saw him dominate AD in the Big Dipper in my hometown
Which is why Kiyan is going to be able to develop. Melo already said they’re not even thinking that far ahead to “one and done”. He’s going to where he can best develop his game and stay until he’s really ready.
That whole sierra canyon team (Bagley, Bailey, K Mart Jr, Cassius, Bronny and Zaire) all stunted growth prospects should be better than what they are. Kids need to focus on developing instead of trying to always capitalize on temporary hype.
Bagley and Zaire were lottery picks so they had their opportunities, Kj was always gonna be a role player, Cassius and Bailey should’ve stayed in school longer, bronny pops is bron so he good no matter what😂
These players need to stop leaving college until they have dominated at that level. One and done used to mean something, these players just try to get to the league as fast as they can just to be out in 1.5 years.
It was over after Drake gave him that #10 chain. His head became a hot air balloon of gas. Sad, because he had a decent freshman year to secure a starting spot in college to develop at a high profile school his sophomore year. These prospects all need to watch the Lenny Cooke movie
It's sad cuz he was already older in high school. The saddest part of the whole documentary is when he said "my name is Leonard. They started all this Lenny stuff" he's one of many that got pushed into the game and despite the talent, somebody all wanted something from him.
@@jesstindevoe7086 drives me nuts. I wish he'd just start instead of telling me what he's about to tell in minutes. Lots of times I just go to the next video after the "intro".
Looks like a pretty good player to me. Still only 20 years old. Needs a little more time to mature and develop his game. He should not give up. He has great potential.
They need to start forcing them to shoot in practice and force them to catch and shoot from the corner and top of the key in game. That would literally fix the issue(if they even care) they just have to be able to shoot from beyond the 3 point line and the rest of their game will be fixed as a result. Except idk if that would fix amari having less assists than turnovers that’s kind of insane for a sg/pg
As a ucla fan it’s just a really unfortunate situation. I get why he left because he really was playing great ball at the end of the season last year. Once Clark and Bona went down it figured that we had no shot at making a run in the tourney but Amari stepped up in a big way and became the number 2 scoring option behind Jaime jacquez. He even had the go ahead shot against Gonzaga in the sweet 16 with under 10 seconds that would’ve been the game winner if not for a strawther half court shot. If that shot misses, ucla wins goes to the elite 8 and I think Amari might be a first round pick and thriving rn. It just sucks because last year if he stayed which im hindsight he should’ve he would’ve been the number 1 option last year and a lottery pick instead of a guy who didn’t get his contract picked up for his second season. and ucla would’ve been atleast a tournament team and possibly a sweet 16 or better but they just didn’t have anything close to a number 1 option. I wish Amari well and i believe in him but getting picked by the hornets was the worst thing for his career. The second it happened I knew his career was in serious jeapaordy(which it is).
Crazy how he STILL has more NBA upside than Bronny, even though he’s been “stunted”… but because daddy and Klutch control all things Lakers, Bronny got that contract … how else would the drafts’ 55th pick get a guaranteed deal, when he was barely an average college player ?
Sad story. He was ranked ahead of Maxey in Texas and top 5 in the country and now he’s on the Sixers summer league struggling. He should have never did that podcast. He wasn’t in the gym
It’s funny I never thought he was that good after I watched a few full games of his never saw the person in the highlights .. for some reason definitely saw this coming
