- This cool clip includes the final segment of one show followed by the open of the next. Seems like there was always something happening in the late 80's and early 90's on TPIR!

Wowee wow wow! Kathleen looked absolutely STUNNING in that gown!
I loved it when Johnny Olson or Rod Roddy would be in the showcase skits. It was always a hoot! Thanks for posting and bringing back memories.
I have a photographic memory of the second show and that Emmitt, the guy in the purple shirt, made it to the Showcase, but can’t remember his opponent’s name or the outcome.
I love those Showcase skits where the beauties are there and an announcer Rod Roddy makes his guest in every Showcase bits. You can hear Rod's voice while he wasn't talking, but the audio was pre-recorded. I missed the Showcase sketch.
Awesome! I loved the old days when Johnny or Rod would be in the showcase skit. Pure classic TPIR with Janice and Holly helping out.
Warren sure looked enthusiastic about his showcase prizes......
The showcase clip was in Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much. The movie about Theodore Slauson.

@Novetrix I've made my own homemade replica of the old border using yellow foamboard from Staples, black construction paper for the center, and a set of christmas lights with the bulbs in the same order.
The Carol Burnett Show had an audience member (in the Q&A segment)who was on the first show of The (then New(Price Is Right)in 1972!

Well as a kid of the 90's, Rod Roddy and Bob Barker were my spirit mates when I was too sick to attend school. Or on those stupid "snow days" that you have in Tennessee, where school is out but you have just a dusting of snow, where if you spit on the sidewalk its more slick than the snow fall.
