@theevilskull Most death metal nowadays sound nothing like Death, though. Incomprehensible growling is a key characteristic now - the vocals of Chuck Schuldiner were way better than any of that. Don't get me wrong, I love guttural growling as well - as long as you can actually hear the words.
sorry, i can distinguish these band's style from COB's , i feel they are quite different, if someone feels that they are the same or copy, then it shows his music distinguishing or classifying ability is not good enough.
Good song, and interesting fact that they're Chinese. Forget to compare it to bodom. Just why don't they try to add simething special chinese instruments to it? There are much in the chinese tradition and it could be way more interesting.

i see u talking here about this is copy of COB and COB of copy of death and all deathmetal is copy of deaht which is actually pretty much true. This sounds cob so much, so many same melodies, so u cant say COB sucks if u listen to this. But in my opinion it has too much the same.

And I never said Frosty Eve are that different from CoB, but I can't stand this "copy"-mentality...if something is chinese and sounds a bit like something from Europe it's always a copy - the whole black metal scene is just a copy, The Barque of Dante is a copy of Dragonforce, Moss/thallus is a copy of Carcass, Filter a copy of Metallica and so on...why can't there be two bands with a similar sound without one being a copy?
seems like u dont know much about composing.. im not saying copying straight, but everything u listen influenses on your composing. And im not talking about chienese or european music, it doesnt matter where it is from. Everyone copies everyone, or maybe first composer in the world didnt.
I listened to every CoB-album, so just stfu. This "style" you are talking of is just mere power metal with harsh vocals, nothing more. So when Frosty Eve is a CoB-copy, than every DM-Band would be a copy of Death...

Not bad but as many of you already said, it reminds me children of bodom too much, especially the song Bastards of bodom.
Every band starts off being influenced by another band, even CoB.
