Great decklist, I edited it a little and added the OTK xyz monsters from your pure fire king build, I cut the anima, ancient warriors and closed moon/heaven link cards for number 97, 100 and 38, and hiita for topologic zeeroboros because as a tri brigade build, your going to have banished monsters for his effect, and knightmare phoenix I swapped with griffin. I'm also main decking 3 onslaught of the fire kings to turbo into the xyz plays, I cut nerval and kerass to 1 and instead of 3 nib I play 2 tactics talent to make space for the onslaught cards. The old version of the deck could end with appollusa and a revolt, with a garunix eternity setup in hand, this can basically do the same thing but replace apple with gryphon, gryphon more often then not shuts down a lot of decks, so if you manage to get him on the field and pass, you basically win right then and there. When the turn passes back to you, link him into almiraj and go into number 97 plays for the OTK. I think this is really flexible because it gives you strong options going first or second, and since your not cutting too much from the main deck you still play a grind game.
Gryphon is a great tech move. Topologic Zeeroboros is also a great idea with Revolt. I'm not a huge fan of the number 97/100/38 combo - but i'll try it out. Thanks for the awesome suggestions
Im genuinely confused First, onslaught is considered a dead card go first since your opponent need to have a monster for you to activate onslaught. In your build have some sense since you want to turbo a rank 8, but isn't a good card go first. Second, how you link Griphon into Almiraj if the requeriments for Almiraj is a normal summoned monster with less than 1000 atk?
Really appreciate the budget options and considerations with such a taxing format, one question I would ask is where would ulcanix fit inside this deck when it eventually comes out?
Promeathen Princess is a bit too high in price. What cheaper but effective option can go in her place? Amblowhale i can buy though. Crossouts a good idea since you do play the targets that stop this deck. Otherwise solid list friend :)
@@zephyrwargamesyugioh And Princess/Ambrowheal/Zealantis... if u use Tri-brigade u r lock into beast.... can't use princess as material after U r block with ur link 3 in the field.... help me understand if i miss someting with this combo line
@erictran6512 that's only if you use the tribrigade eff, the idea is princess provides a route before you start using your Tri brigade effects that sets up such a powerful float and interaction in the GY, the design of the build is Fire King focused woth tribrigade supporting, so yous till go down normal FK routes but you can deviate into tribrigade should you need and shift the strat from def to att

the decks still playable and id say the fk version is the best way to play it, that being said, it has just naturally been powr crept so not near the competitive level it used to be sadly

@@Kiferno your right about gryphon into almiraj, can't do that, onslaught is only to turbo into number 97 plays turn 2, it's not a turn 1 card

goes straight in tbh, you would ideally play pure, but if you still want to play the mix you would probs cut down the reliance on the TB engine

youd probs shift to pure tbh, or if you still want to play the tri version, youd cut the tri engine down to fit it in

comes down to preference tbh, you can switch out almiraj or anima, or you can switch out phoenix or the underworld package if you want more space.
