Welcome to Weather Watcher! I’m 17 years old, and as my channel name implies, I love weather! Throughout my life, I’ve had many interests and hobbies, but none of them have stuck with me quite as long as meteorology.
It all started in 2021 when I created my RUclips channel. At first, I didn’t really have a plan for what I would post; but it wasn’t long before I began creating forecasts. My weather forecasts and then eventual incorporation of livestreams helped my following grow steadily between late 2021 into 2023.
In early 2023, I finally started using my real voice to narrate my forecasts, which was a challenge for me personally… but it proved to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my channel. By October 2023, my channel underwent another major change… tracking European weather!

Hope you feel better soon. The lack of sunshine in Scotland is causing more than an inconvenience for sun worshippers it is depressing. Also the day and night temperatures are way
below normal, even colder in the wind. Thank you again. Very accurate forecast.

Snow fell at the Glencoe Ski Centre in Scotland yesterday - this is July and here in the Forth Valley in Scotland today we had a high of 15C but most of the day it’s been 13C, normal summer day temperatures here in July are 24-26C. I have friends who lit their log burning stove last night they were so cold!

Here in Seville, in the southwest of Spain, this weekend the temperatures have been pleasant, below 35°C, between 30°C and 33°C, and the nights around 16°C, therefore temperatures unusual. Last week we had two days above 40c. And next week we expect temperatures below 40°C, so it's already a great summer for us.

This evening in Yorkshire the sun was surrounded by a Corona like a continuous circular rainbow and was intersected by several dispersing vapour trails at different angles. Never seen this before. It was followed by a very uneven and stormy looking continuous cloud base at low level. Very weird!

*Fishing overlay for South Sweden for 06-07.jun* : as rainfall will rise water level in rivers and lakes + increase oxygen in water, all fish will be less lethargic and spikes of feeding have increased chances. Expect water temp to remain in 20-22c bracket. Light lure fishing in disturbed rivers may result in chub, perch and occasional trout. Zander will be active on the bottom and pelagic, but may not rise at the evening, as wind and current will push baitfish in deeper waters and weeds. Pay attention to increasing winds at the end of sunday on open waters and stay safe. Pike fishing not advisable, because of the warm water. Carp and other large white fish will be active and on the move, at the windy side of lakes and ponds: good chances there, just anchor down your brolly.
In Oresund, mackerel migration continues, although decreasing in size.
If you have planned a canoe trip down a river, do not cancel, but expect heavy downpour or two a day and be prepared.

The weather all over Greece yesterday was insane! Storms hail strong winds lost of rain!

I've never known such a strange weather pattern as we're having this year in the Landes region, France. The sky has been heavy and grey (with just occasional partially sunny days) since April/May/June and now July. It's at least 10° cooler than normal too.

Yeah, even in Portugal, which is known for being sunny, has seen more cloudy days than usual. The Atlantic is just in full swing with storms coming in nonstop.

I am Holiday in Leven Fife Scotland we had a fall of snow Saturday

Living in Sweden, where the winter was particularly cold, i think everyone was looking forward to a decent warm summer, and finding that old tube of sun block.
Its very close to the same weather we had in.2023, with July and August temperature around 15°c and a lot of rain.
It must be very frustrating for meteorologists, there seems to be so many weird events in nature, hurricanes 🌀 slaming into the carribean, devastating storms again in the far east, and huge flooding in Europe.
When i see all of the destruction that mother earth can deal out, im pretty lucky that i live in a country that doesn't have catastrophic weather events.
However, it would be great if we had some warm weather in July and August in southern Sweden, would like to get some tan on my otherwise polar bear coloured legs.

You’re welcome! You’re right, the weather really has been odd lately. Things that were once considered “normal” are being replaced with more abnormal/extreme events.
My Potato crop is not doing well here in Ireland. Low rainfall over the last 3 weeks and cold nights.
Had intense thunder and lightning last night in N. Devon, England, lasted for over an hour, it was not forecasted by the met office
It was gorgeous in Warsaw today. We don’t have so many nice days lately.

We got sunshine today for a while on the coast of Donegal and it was good but went back to overcast again in evening, hopefully good weather comes soon its sickening when you see nice blue sky for a while and then it disappears again,i remember growing up you could get 2 or 3 months of blue skies this time of year but unfortunately those years look like there gone

In costal Portugal, south primary, temperatura was around 34ºc/20ºC , interior around 38ºC by night i don't know...now we will have colder weather for the next week, 24ºC and even 22 ºC. For us is not that hot for July. (but i like it) Great forecast, simple accurate and easy to follow, congrats. Get well fast .

It's crazy here in the cheaper end of the Loire Valley. Partner has gone and bought a large stand alone pool to put in the garden...doesn;t have the days to put it up and enjoy it! rain, cold, good sun and temps for 2 or 3 days then back down again...absolute see saw weather...but like kcvriess below in the comments, he;s mowed the lawn and attacked all wild bits with the strimmer...so just wating for the rain tomorrow. this year it's like living back in Wales...

I am sick of this cold weather Ireland is having 15c by day and 7 to 9c at night here's hoping mid July onwards will be warmer there are signs but still very early days and alot can happen between now and then

Finally, something is happening in Denmark 😊
Volunteers in Lapland are going to have some heavy conditions. I just returned home from Lapland. We are collecting data for the 4th Bird Atlas of Finland. Lapland is sparsely populated so volunteers from Southern Finland have been up there. We got good weather in Eastern Lapland. Now the volunteers in western Lapland are having it worse.
Just subscribed excellent factual information that I for one prefer . I feel your factual content is lacking with the for ever cheerful smiling met office individuals who seem to relish in telling us “it’s normal for this time of year “

I have a question about an even bigger perspective. It's El Niño year, isn't it? I was expecting a cold winter here in Denmark, but we got an unusually wet season and now a relatively cold summer. All the medias are screaming "Climate Crisis!" but could it be explained by El Niño?
Yes, last winter was dominated by El Niño, but now we’re in La Niña. The impact of that ocean pattern is a little unclear in Europe, since it’s so far away, but I think El Niño may have indirectly caused a relentless storm train (hence the wetter than normal winter). I’m very interested to see the difference next winter with a La Niña in place
