In this video, I go through a quick rundown of Midjourney's updates for June 2024. The new Model Personalization feature, news on upcoming releases, an update to SREF, community engagement, and changes to the website are all covered. The only update I didn't mention in this video is that a new version of Niji (Midjourney's anime-trained model) was released in early June. You can try it out by including --niji in your prompt.

If they decide to let people inpaint uploaded images in the future, I could see allowing pan and zoom on uploaded images being an easy addition.

Can I upload a picture say from Pinterest and use that aesthetic from the picture as a reference for the ai ?

Yes. Paste the image URL after the --sref parameter to use it as a Style Reference.
