Thank you for watching and for the comment. Took it out to the range last weekend and it worked great. Ended up adjusting the height a little and put the black screws in to give it a little contrast. All in all, I am extremely happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone using a scope on an M1A.
I’m debating buying one for my m1a . I’ve tried a couple different brands but they are different than the one you have. I put a smith enterprise mount on my rifle and a leupold mark 4 6.5 x 20 50mm with mark 4 rings. It sits up pretty high and I need a higher cheek rest. Are you satisfied with the one you bought?
I am very satisfied with it and wouldn't hesitate on buying another if I was scoping a different M1A/M14. I did make an adjustment and changed the height when I got to the range and eventually swapped the copper screws for the black to add some contrast, but the rest itself has been absolutely awesome.
You know what I absolutely HATE about the wireless hole puncher industry? They discontinue their best models "because of profits". That Supermatch that comes glass bedded with a thick barrel is a work of art.
Thank you for the comment. Agree with you 100%. There are some really cool and interesting ones that have been discontinued for one reason or another and it's a real shame.
Appreciate the information. I was tossing around the touron or something else. Just came across the “ something “ else. The Bradly. I have the Socom model fiberglass type stock. Just found my old friend Nikon M-308 scope. Decided to go with Springfield’s scope mount. Haven’t bought 1 inch scope rings as of yet. Tossing that around. One piece or single two rings. Btw have you had any problems with cartridge extraction? Again thanks for a well done video
Appreciate the comment and question. I assume you're asking if the scope mount has given me any issues with casings being ejected. If that is the case, then no, I have not had ANY issues with extraction/ejection issues. Shells are expelled around the 1:30 direction with great authority and the scope mount does not hinder function in any way. If you wouldn't mind letting me know what ring setup you go with, I'd appreciate it. Curious to what you're using and how you like it.
Will let you know in a few days.I have the Nikon M-308 scope and waiting on the 308 scope mount. Installed the Springfield's mount already. @@pewpewreview5043

Glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
Beautiful Rifle. Love the M1A
Thank you for the comment, much appreciated.
how did you install the bipod on your M1a
Thank you for the question. It slides onto the gas system and a nut that is on the underside is tightened with a socket or wrench.

Thanks for the question. It's the Sadlak Airborne mount with Seekins Precision rings.
